When I purchased this egg from the cruise ship about 5 years ago, I was told that it had been purchased in Russia. It has a pretty scene handpainted and is signed. The back is painted black and has a handpainted cross.
The cruise was with Rev. John Hagee and Rev. Jesse Duplantis.
This is a hand painted dresser and cupboard that I did a while ago. It's painted in acrylics and sealed with a water based finish.

My husband was out on a stag party yesterday day and evening, I was bored so knocked this up. I am actually really pleased with it as I have never been able to draw or paint. I think I pulled it off! www.auroracakes.com

Excited for the upcoming holidays, I just couldn't wait to start designing some wintery-themed items. I thought I'd start with some Blythe eyechips. Only one of these pairs came out particularly wintery, but I like them all the same.
I'm also very excited that I have discovered the easist way to paint specific designs, like snowflakes, onto the chips: using a toothpick. I made a pair of heart pupil eyechips months ago, but the process of painting the heart with a brush was so painful I couldn't bring myself to paint another. Well, using a toothpick dipped in paint, the process is actually very fun, so I imagine I'll have plenty of silly designs to share soon.
Those of you who know me know that I appreciate a good cup of coffee. (You also know that, by "coffee", I mean something fancy, generally in the caramel mocha family.) I'm not sure I've ever found a more tucked-away coffee shoppe than this one, hidden north of M-43 in Sunfield, just south of the railroad tracks. I am so glad I found it, though! Here, I enjoyed one of the most delicious caramel mochas I've ever tasted. The inside is cozy and very nicely decorated, including art by local artists. I met one of the proprietors; she had been responsible for overseeing the decoration, and clearly enjoyed it. On top of that, she whipped up my delicious coffee, took the time to chat for a while, and helped me pick out the right colour (brown) for the hoodie sweatshirt I opted to get. If you're passing through or near Sunfield, the Sunfield Coffee Company is definitely worth a visit.
The sign, by the way, was painted by hand. I love a good sign.
Country sitting room classic with off white base and stripped and waxed top.
Three drawers for your living room clutter.
...by me... the planter was gifted to me by my lovely neighbours, one of many... so I decided to upcycle this one... first attempt at acrylics and quite pleased with the result... it's been planted up with sempervivums today... hope they like their new home.
This photo is taken on a road called Auto Spare Parts Lane near Lamington Road, Central Mumbai. The whole area is full of old shops selling vehicle parts.
Last spammage of Tuppence, promised! XD
I handpainted her eyelids with a cute little beads and hearts pattern and put a yummie gloss to make them look like delicious hard candies. *^____^*
I love her full, thick lashes, thanks CoolCat!
