newest addition to my small collection of brooches, at first glance I could have sworn it is a handsome modern fella with the latest haircut but at a closer look it is actually a lady with a vintage air, why couldn't I spot that earring, ha!
No pattern really for these. I knitted these as basic mittens, only without the top. K5, P2 throughout. Yarn is some unknown leftover yarn my MIL gave me.

I created this hardcover journal as a custom commission for someone traveling on their bicycle from North to South America - the specs were:

I added an awesome camouflaged secret pocket for storing important documents or extra cash.
Interestingly, when I inquired what colors they might like to have in their books they replied "it doesn't matter" - I asked, "really, no preference?" and it was revealed that the entire family is color blind and the only colors that appear true are shades of blue.
In response I avoided red and green bookcloth and chose a nice brown silk Japanese cloth - I also chose a high contrast geometric endpaper so that hopefully it will still look cool even if the colors are different from the way they appear to me.

This star measures 7/8" from point to point and was handcrafted crafted entirely from several gauges of sterling silver wire and sterling silver beads, has been oxidized to bring out the wire details and for depth and character.
