felt brooches inspired by science-y round things - craters, rockpools or Petri dishes

Large gift tags handmade from vintage Royal Mail postal receipts with reinforced eyelet, threaded with brown and white twine. Sold in a package of 5.

Made with found materials while I waited for dh to troubleshoot new work software.

We didn't have any coated electrical wire in the workshop, so I found this heavy duty coated metal that would normally be used as a plant holder.

I didn't even have to use any tools, I was able to bend the metal with my hands. Took me 2 1/2 tries to get it the shape I wanted though.

This card is based on a sketch from Clean & Simple stamping 307

Stamps: Simon Says Stamp, Gummiapan.

Photographed in my garden with red Pentas.

Had to add a few more finishing touches to this summer bag....another flower, some leaves, and inside a cell phone pocket. I like it better now....looks more complete!

Lots of tiny sterling silver squiggles connected together to make a fun necklace :)

I'd not been in this space for ages: the Handm@de Cambridge craft fair was going on. It's always seemed odd to me that Cambridge has such an an ugly "city hall" (it's ugly on the outside too): it dates form the late 1930's.

Knit and crochet undies for the Manga Spirits. They can be worn interchange-ably by either the Knit or the Crochet Spirit.

I used a self striping yarn that gave these different looks; it was fun to see how each piece turned out.

Free pattern will be available on my blog soon:
