This mushroom was sent to maltagirl (aka as sacredwaterssoap on Flickr) for a "Magical Mushroom" swap.
Saw an image of a mushroom on Flickr, modified the image slightly and sized it about 4", and the used one of maltagirl's favorite color combinations (pink and brown).
The mushroom is made from 100% wool felt, and is embroidered using cotton embroidery floss.
The top of the mushroom has beads sewn on, and the entire stuffie is sewn using the blanketstitch.
(For other items that I embroider and are available, please see my Flickr profile for the link to my Etsy shop.)

This is a set of six felt cookies that come in a little felt bag.
All the cookies are made from wool felt and hand embroidered using cotton floss and the blanket stitch. The chocolate cookie with white frosting using the couching stitch as well.
Two of the patterns were from a Japanese craft magazine (the two light brown ones).
The chocolate cookie in the front is my own design.
The pink cookies and white frosting on a chocolate cookie are inspired by different variations of the cookies on Flickr.
These cookies were part of a meal for "Fake Food ~ Food that comes in a bag" on Swap-Bot. It was sent to Christine (Hidnomen). I made an extra set for my daughters to play with in their play kitchen.
Other felt food that is available can be found through the link on my Flickr profile.

This vintage pillow case was just darling. The embroidered design so sweet with pretty florals and the cutest little bluebirds. The hand crochet lace at the hemline was stunning. These all are just beautiful works of art, and truly do make the most precious pillowcase dresses for little girls. Who can resist! I don't normally use wide ribbons on my vintage dresses, but the mom requested them. Really was cute but the camera made the satin ribbon look darker than it really was.
