so here it is. for FGR. hand art. now i don't want to wash my hand. i suppose i was going through w/drawl from not having paint all over my hands these past 2 weeks at work. thanks kendra, lil sis, for choosing this group today. xo
perhaps tomorrow i will paint my entire body.
I was hanging out with IgniNyani... and it was late at night... and we were hyper... and she was like "can i draw on your hand"... and i was like "only if i can draw on yours"... and so she drew on my hands and on one of her hands i drew this ice blue unicorn with midnight blue hair and pink majestic hearts and a wavy rainbow... oh, and a matching ice blue rectangle cut ring...
I struggled with a title on this one. So much going on here, An obviously amputated mutant hand that is taking LSD and reaching a Jerry Garcia guitar pick

Taken earlier this summer. I'm gonna be posting a bunch of older stuff, haven't been too inspired lately.
Just a bunch of Crochet threads, I liked the colours and texture made from the bindings. Just used a load of cardboard sheets to shape the light on the backdrop and product.
Pakistani girl displays her Mehndi to the image maker in Karachi, Pakistan. Traditionally, Muslim women across much of the world apply Mehndi on their hands and feet during Islamic festivals like Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha (or Eid-e-Qurban).

May our friendship last forever
by Nicholas Gordon
May our friendship last forever;
May I sail upon your sea.
May we go through life together;
May there always be a "we."
May I be your endless sky;
May you breathe my gentle air.
May you never wonder why
Each time you look for me, I'm there.
May we be for each a smile
Like the warm, life-giving sun;
Yet when we're in pain awhile,
May our suffering be one.
May we share our special days,
The happiness of one for two;
And if we must go separate ways,
Let my love remain with you.

Memories~
My grandmother gave me this necklace when I was about seven years old. She has had it since she was in high school, which in my opinion makes it all the more special. When I wear it I feel like I’m carrying an abundance of history around my neck. In the sense that, it’s been through a lot over the years; good and bad moments, happy and sad moments. My grandmother is a very special lady who has been through a lot in her; early loss of her husband and battled with a life threating sickness shortly after her loss. Of course many people go through loss and other such hardships.
Because of that, today I really wanted this photo to be a tribute to any lost loved ones as well as anyone who is suffering. All history included, because no one is ever forgotten no matter how many years go by. Also, I wanted to just take a moment to remember all the victims of 9-11 who died ten years ago. You’ll never be forgotten.
I've always been fascinated with Mystical and Sacred Art of Mendhi! Mehndi is a traditional art from South Asia and India that is applied to skin during celebratory occasions. Even though I had a traditional Western wedding, I had mehndi designs drawn on my hands))) So I thought a lot of time how I could designed something similar to mehndi ornaments, but if there will be opportunity to wear it and take off when I want! I created an unique pattern and made my first mitt looking like henna art). This design are lacy, curly, delicate, tracery and pretty unique! The MitTians wears through little finger on left or right hand! As crocheted fabric is very stretchy and adjusts to wearer's shape, this mitt easily fit on arm size 7-8 and finger diameter 1,8-2"{4,5-5,5 cm}.

Naqsh-e Rustam (in Persian: نقش رستم Nāqš-e Rostām) is an archaeological site located about 12 km northwest of Persepolis, in Fars province, Iran. Naqsh-e Rustam lies a few hundred meters from Naqsh-e Rajab.
The oldest relief at Naqsh-i Rustam is severely damaged and dates to c. 1000 BCE. It depicts a faint image of a man with unusual head-gear and is thought to be Elamite in origin. The depiction is part of a larger mural, most of which was removed at the command of Bahram II. The man with the unusual cap gives the site its name, Naqsh-e Rostam, "Picture of Rostam", because the relief was locally believed to be a depiction of the mythical hero Rostam

Still ill. I managed to venture out to the doctors today though, not that they did much help.
I took this one earlier today with Danny. I wanted something a little more interesting than yesterday's selfie.
