Read more about this and download an HD version at: steveczajka.posterous.com/halloween Does this remind you of the classic film, "John Carpenter's Halloween"? (www.imdb.com/title/tt0077651/ ). I felt that the original was an excellent film. The music in the film was absolutely haunting. I designed it to look like the opening titles of the movie. The jack lantern on the ...
So I don't do dioramas often, it's just too hard getting everyone in one shot and all in focus, but sometimes I try anyway. This is Halloween 2021; we have several witches, two flappers, a cowgirl/sheriff, a Native American Princess, a scarecrow, a clown, a cat, and a couple ladies just in Halloween themed dresses. I don't know what happened to all the men, but we have eight women and five children. It's also funny to me how many have spilled their drink. I normally change my doll's poses while shooting but didn't too much for fear of knocking things over (like their drinks, lol) So here are all 24 photos of my 2021 Halloween Party, and most from a bird's-eye view.
Found some clipart on internet and a couple of really cute cookies. I thought I would try them out for my book club meeting tonight!

Truth is, I took a much more artistic shot of her. One without so much background issue. And yet, this one is still my favorite as her face is lit up with delight.

Halloween ornaments! I´ve been working on these the last couple of weeks. I´m going to get lost in the mountains and woods of the north of Spain for some days, when I return I will upload more photos with the Halloween ornament sets. :)
it's halloween and this year seems to be a real party year...there were TONS of folks dressed up this year...
so today i went to the GW (is there a day that i don't?)....in the GOODWILL at VAN NESS & MISSION there was a guy in a GORILLA COSTUME browsing the asiles...The security guard was even amazed. "Both of you have the Halloween spirit. The gorilla, and your SECURITY COSTUME are the best!" He laughed, though kept his eyes on the gorilla. (they must have slippery hands...)
Walking by OPERA PLAZA on VAN NESS , a sexy SUPER GIRL with cape & full costume walked by ADDA who asked, "Wouldn't it be easier to 'leap the buildings in a single bound'?
"Too early. Need my PEET'S COFFEE first! ", she smiled.
Inside PEET's the counter Vampire had the complete blacked out eye contacts which were chillingly scary, as was his perfectly fitted vampire fangs..."Cup of Drac, Red , no scream please! " I asked. He chuckled and bared his Vampire suckers!
Then in came a guy in complete black suit, white shirt & black tie with a black bowler hat. ADDA exclaimed, "Wow! Great Charlie Chaplin costume." He tipped his hat and said with a smile, "Oh. I dress like this everyday!"
Behind him was a woman in a 'fat lady in a pink bikini costume' attracted lots of attention mainly because she was the size of a VW Beetle! She was bombarded with praise and when asked if she was hot in her MACY'S parade ballon-type costume. "No, It has a fan inside which keeps the costume inflated & me cool !"
After the fun time at PEET'S COFFEE, ADDA took the bus where there was a teenager on the 38 Geary bus in a 'box carton' decorated as a 38 GEARY BUS!!!! He took up alot of room, but I think everyone appreciated the joke and made room for him. Further down the asile was a guy in full STAR WARS stormtrooper uniform & helmet ...he was checking his text messages from planet GEORGELUCAS, no doupt.
I got off the bus to mail some letters at the Geary/20th Avenue Post Office only to be greeted at the counter by an employee of the Moulin Rouge. Full on glitterly rhinestoned costume, head-dress, & mask...Absolutely beautiful!
Then it was onward home on the bus along with person in a complete yellow body costume as PIKACHU, a space alien, several cats, and elf. There were several little kids hitting the houses for their treats...pink princess, count dracula, Tinkerbell, & little leopard. In all, just a typical day in San Francisco actually...

This year's brand new Halloween items! Will be going up on Etsy today/tomorrow... I've been pretty busy and stuff, so them going on the store has kept being delayed. :c
These cookies will be going up at a special clearance price because they have several flaws. They're not HORRIBLE, but they're not as perfect as I wanted them to be. Some of the gloss on them didn't cure properly and is permanently cloudy (you can see in the pictures), unfortunately. While glossing them, they apparently also became lint magnets, and you can see there are several flaws/specs preserved in the gloss on them. u __ u Now, it's not SUPER noticeable, but my eyes are incredibly OCD and notice every little thing. The biggest thing is the slightly off color gloss, but hey, that's what clearance is for!
I had to start thinking of a Halloween cake a couple of weeks ago.... I was asked to go to Milan for an Interview for SKY... to present the TV show that I did which will begin here next week. So.. I travelled with this cake.. in a box.... on a train for 4 hours!!! LOL
The skull was made using the skull pan which I actually bought especially for this cake... I vought it from www.shopbakersnook.com It is made my Wilton.. and is called the 3D Skull Pan. I will post a pic of the cake as it came out of the oven... because I think it actually looked better before I put the fondant on!
Decided to see what I could do with what is left of last years Halloween Sleevies. A little Monster was born :)
