Just got myself a new (to me) 50mm f/1.4, lovely bokeh on this fiber-optic halloween decoration. I cant wait to try this one out on some bands. :)

A gypsy fire is on the hearth,

Sign of the carnival of mirth;

Through the dun fields and from the glade

Flash merry folk in masquerade,

For this is Halloween!

The last Halloween picture from the point and shoot camera from last fall! I'd love to get another shot at capturing this one now that I've learned a lot more, but for now, this one will have to do. It is still definitely one of my few favorites from last year's fall decorations at the Magic Kingdom.

Have a great Halloween and beware of those grim grinning ghosts as they come out to socialize!

Comments, suggestions, critiques, etc. are always appreciated! Thanks for looking!

Halloween Solent Sunset.

A long exposure to smooth out the waves and create blur in the clouds. Still getting some good sunsets even though the temperatures are now single figures and close to freezing.

So I don't do dioramas often, it's just too hard getting everyone in one shot and all in focus, but sometimes I try anyway. This is Halloween 2021; we have several witches, two flappers, a cowgirl/sheriff, a Native American Princess, a scarecrow, a clown, a cat, and a couple ladies just in Halloween themed dresses. I don't know what happened to all the men, but we have eight women and five children. It's also funny to me how many have spilled their drink. I normally change my doll's poses while shooting but didn't too much for fear of knocking things over (like their drinks, lol) So here are all 24 photos of my 2021 Halloween Party, and most from a bird's-eye view.

On Thursday 18th October it was the Chester Welshot Imaging “Halloween” evening and this time it was the turn of two new models called Georgia and Sammie. The make-up (or body art) was done by Christine Bailey and Lily Martin.

Cute halloween sticker sacks: Joly jack o lantern and Perky pumpkin

Marty: “Well, here is where I live. I’ll see you guys tomorrow. I still have a few things to do to get ready for school tomorrow.”

Charlie: “So, this is where you live. I’ve seen this place before and wondered what kind of people would live in a three-story apartment.”

Anita: “Me, too. And do you have a basement?”

Marty: “Yes, there’s a basement, and I’m afraid to go down there, especially at night, and when the furnace turns on. It’s kind of spooky in a way.”

Patty: “So, you can have Halloween during winter! Super!”

Charlie: “I would feel the same way. I would hate to run into anything creepy.”

Anita: “I just love basements! I even make friends with spiders, like Patty’s spider here. Come on, boy!”

Patty: “I didn’t know you had a talent to talk to spiders.”

Anita: “Oh, I can speak with dogs and cats, too. They can tell you a lot about their owners.”

Patty: “Oh, dear! I surely hope my spider doesn’t tell you my secrets!”

Marty: “Well, one thing we have to keep doing, and I hate to say it, but we need to find us a dragon for the Halloween party. So, put your thinking caps on and come up with something. Can we meet again tomorrow after school?”

Charlie: “Sounds good to me.”

Last batch of the Halloween shots. I happened by this one when stop to chat with a neighbor.
