My one and only Halloween photo! I had exactly 2 minutes to get some girls out and take a quick photo. At least these girls let me take their photo, my human children wouldn't let me get one single good shot of them in their bat costumes :(

Halloween chocolate sugar cookies I made for some glass Jack-o-lantern jars. These are about 1" to 1.5" inches in size. Some designs carried over from last year with a few new ones added in.

Although this photo was shot and edited in the week leading up until Halloween, I didn't release it on Flickr on the 31st of October due to issues with using the mobile app with my tablet while I was on vacation. This shot consists of my signature Amish magnifigure who's holding a pumpkin head with his new arms. I took this picture in my cemetery scene with hard color lighting pointing towards the display.
I took two sets of photos: with a fog machine, and without. Since I'm still learning how to properly use a fog machine with close macro photography, those particular shots were too hazy and improperly lit, hence I chose the earlier shots with just colored lighting.

Hand cut Halloween ghost cookies. I had originally drawn this ghost as part of a Halloween design to paint on a sweatshirt back in the late 80's. I redesigned it for these cookies. I didn't have sanding sugar in white, so I improvised adding disco dust to corn syrup thinned with clear vanilla and painted it over the outlines. It doesn't show it in the photo, but it really sparkles. These were just trial cookies to see if the design works on a cookie so next time I'll be adding thinner detail lines and better contrasting colors on the patches.

Acho que é a primeira nail art que eu faço e eu gosto *-* É sério, parece que eu tenho duas mãos esquerdas, não consigo nem fazer poá direito, mas depois de ver tantas unhas de halloween no flickr eu fiquei com inveja vontade de fazer também! Resolvi fazer a mais fácil, pensei em copiar a técnica da Larissa Neri mas a preguiça não deixou e resolvi fazer na mão livre mesmo. Foi fácil, o ruim mesmo é passar o esmalte branco IUHSAIDHIUASHIAUH

These are just a few of the shots we took for the Microminimus Halloween Competition. While we didn’t receive the fan vote, we were selected as a Staff finalist for our efforts in these shots. Wow, we actually won something in one of those competitions! I’m kind of shocked by that……
