Local skilled workers are creating a main roof support beam on house 1. The beam is created by:

1. Creating a wooden box mold spanning the width of the house. This is supported by wooden scaffolding.

2. Steel reinforcing is then laid in the boxing and concrete is bucketed into the boxing.

3. After the concrete has set, the wooden boxing mold is removed and the beam is ready to support the roof.

This is a photo of the concrete being passed up to be poured into the boxing.

The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts (Louisville, KY) donated the flooring from the Whitney Hall stage to the local Habitat for Humanity chapter. Whitney Hall will receive a newly developed, state-of-the-art floor designed to protect dancers from injury and enhance their performance. These are the Habitat volunteers who helped remove the floor in June '09.

Day 3 - The Baptist Builders' van. This van is important because when we see it we know it's lunch and dinner time.

She used the porta-potty right next to the one Jimmy Carter was in haha... so the picture had to be taken :P
