Die Krypta
und das große erstaunliche Rätsel von Unterregenbach
Bei archäologischen Ausgrabungen konnte eine über 1000-jährige Kirchenanlage, Spuren eines Klosters und eines Herrensitzes in Unterregenbach nachgewiesen werden.
Das Grabungsmuseum im alten Schulhaus zeigt Fundstücke und eine Dokumentation der Ausgrabungen in Unterregenbach. Im Keller des heutigen Pfarrhauses ist die Krypta der Regenbacher Basilika aus ottonischer Zeit frei zugänglich. Unter dem Fußboden der Dorfkirche ist noch der Grundriss der karolingischen Saalkirche zu sehen. Im Kircheninneren sind Teile des aufgehenden Mauerwerks der Kleinen Basilika aus dem 11. Jahrhundert zu erkennen.
Siedlungsbestrebungen werden auf die spätkeltische La-Tène-Zeit datiert. Darauf folgt eine Besiedlungslücke bis ins 8. Jahrhundert, die bis heute nicht geschlossen werden konnte. In fränkischer Zeit befand sich in Unterregenbach offenbar ein mit Mauer und Graben befestigter Herrensitz mit kleiner Saalkirche und einem Wirtschaftshof.
Zwischen 980 und 1020 wurde eine dreischiffige Kirche mit Hallenkrypta unter dem Ost-Querhaus errichtet, die dem Ort vermutlich überregionale Bedeutung einbrachte. Gestiftet wurde diese Große Basilika wahrscheinlich vom schwäbischen Herzogshaus, denn Kaiserin Gisela verschenkte 1033 Teile ihres Unterregenbacher Besitzes als Erbbesitz aus zweiter Ehe mit Ernst I. von Schwaben an das Hochstift Würzburg. Befunde und altes Marktrecht deuten auf einen Wallfahrtsort, der diese Funktion wohl bis in die erste Hälfte des 15. Jahrhunderts innehatte.

En la época de Noé, la humanidad era corrupta, promiscua y no estaba disponible para arrepentirse, nadie escuchó las palabras de Dios. Su tenacidad y maldad provocaron la ira de Dios y finalmente fueron tragados por un diluvio a excepción de los ocho miembros de la familia de Noé quienes habían obedecido las palabras de Dios.
Tal como dice Dios: “Echa un vistazo a la época del arca de Noé: la humanidad era profundamente corrupta, se había desviado de la bendición de Dios, Él ya no cuidaba más de ella, y había perdido Sus promesas. Vivía en las tinieblas, sin la luz de Dios. Así pues, los hombres se volvieron licenciosos por naturaleza, abandonados a sí mismos a una depravación horrible. Tales hombres ya no podían recibir la promesa de Dios; no eran dignos de ver el rostro de Dios, ni de oír Su voz, porque lo habían abandonado, habían dejado de lado todo lo que Él les había concedido, y se habían olvidado de las enseñanzas de Dios. Su corazón se apartaba más y más de Dios, y conforme lo hacía, se volvieron depravados más allá de toda razón y humanidad, y cada vez más malvados. Así pues, cada vez se acercaron más a la muerte, y cayeron bajo la ira y el castigo de Dios. Sólo Noé adoró a Dios y se apartó del mal, y por eso fue capaz de oír Su voz, y Sus instrucciones. Él construyó el arca siguiendo las instrucciones de la palabra de Dios, y reunió a toda forma de criaturas vivientes. Y de esta manera, una vez que todo se había preparado, Dios desató Su destrucción sobre el mundo. Sólo Noé y los siete miembros de su familia sobrevivieron a la destrucción, porque Noé adoró a Jehová y se apartó del mal”.
Ahora, han llegado los últimos días, la humanidad se ha vuelto cada vez más corrupta, abogando por el mal y viviendo en una vida licenciosa de comer, beber y divertirse, incluso las personas religiosas siguen la tendencia del mundo, codician la fama, fortuna, estatus y riqueza... En los últimos días, el grado de corrupción de la humanidad no es nada mejor que el de la época de Noé. ¡Se puede ver que han llegado los días de Noé! Debido al carácter justo de Dios, Dios odia la maldad y la corrupción de la humanidad, pero al mismo tiempo, se preocupa y compadece por ella y le da oportunidad para que se arrepienta. Por eso, en los últimos días, Dios vuelve a obrar entre los hombres para expresar la verdad y salvarlos, Él está buscando a las personas que escuchan Sus palabras y anhelan Su aparición. "When it came, the affect was different on those with magic in their blood. She remembered still when her elders had scoffed and chided her for coming with warnings of a danger she couldn't describe or give name to. She was too young to be taken seriously then, too inexperienced. If those who's gifts were honed so much stronger than her own, felt no such sense of foreboding, who was she to say otherwise.
Their society was in a golden age at that time. The merger of science and magic was seamless. Looking back now it was beautiful the way the fall had crept in. The same advances that had enabled them to live in harmony, were what ultimately proved their undoing.
Her people were called the Lileae, a race of being descended from creatures who'd gone into hiding from man long ago. They'd only emerged to guide the younger species that shared their home world after they'd gone so sick with disease both mental and physical that it was ravaging San Mora itself. Through bonds that even sensitive men could see, the Lileae were able to connect with humans to heal and cure their afflictions. The stronger elders of her kind in those early days were able to connect to the earth through the nodes spread throughout the hills of San Mora and were able to heal the earth itself.
That was generations before her time, the world she was born to had long forgotten the signs of those diseases as there hadn't been so much as a trace of disease for longer than anyone could remember.
But as with all things... energy had to go somewhere.
She still remembered the first time she felt the foreboding she felt become tangible. The pollen from her flowers had always danced over her skin in a pleasant sensation she'd taken as much for granted as those around her. That night her skin crawled all over, every night going worse until she had to be restrained to prevent her from scratching her flesh raw to make it stop.
Within days the first human succumbed to the disease. She'd been told her screams echoed from her rooms as he'd fallen from the bridge and into the waters below. All she remembered was the sick frenzy of her flowers showering her in that fine sheen of pollen, the way she would have begged for the crawling sensation to come back.
By the time the last of the humans succumbed to the disease, all of the lileae had experienced the agony of their own diseased flowers feeding off of them. As if each loss of human life was a price they'd pay for their arrogance at ignoring the early warnings. For not severing the bonds between man and lileae that had in it's way made both species dependent on each other.
There were no humans left now for the disease to take, but the flowers had the lileae, and the lileae had the pain of the feedings to remind them they were alive in a world that no longer was."
