Nobuo at the vet this morning when I dropped him off for a glucose curve (he has diabetes) and some other immunizations. He was very unhappy when I chased him down to put in the carrier but seemed forgiving once we got to the vet (or nervous). He has a lot of friends at the vet so he'll forget how angry he was once I pick him up in the afternoon.
[Afternoon]: The people at the vet groomed him and played with him and he repaid them by biting one of them. Fortunately his canine teeth have long been removed due to cavities so no damage was done. He was probably just excited... And, he did forget how angry he was.
My second wedding on 25th Oct 2008, I think I had just told Tracey Lee my price HAHA. This was a discarded Image at the time. I am having fun revisiting my previously discarded Images.

This is probably the only Pan Am Railways yard facility sign i've ever seen. With the whole situation of CSX filing the acquiring of Pan Am Railways, sights like these will most likely be changed to CSX as well as their motive power. Like the Boston & Maine, Bangor & Aroostock and the Maine Central Railroad, Pan Am Railways is history in the making of a whole new era of New England railroading.

We both attended Montessori school in Brooklyn, NY. She left the next year to live out her life in Tokyo. I only, by pure chance, met her again 30 years later because we were working in the same office and she mentioned to her mom that "Mr. Kennedy" also went to Montessori school in the late 60's. Her mom shot back, "Is it Ian? Did he have curly hair?"
I wonder what ever happened to the guy sitting in between us?
This seems to be a long emergence period this spring. I guess the cold nights are keeping them back. Just a few Large Red adults about and no Azures yet.

A conversation between Isaac and his Bobo (grandmother):
Isaac (in all seriousness): Bobo, I know how to say dog in French. Do you want to hear it?
Bobo: Sure. How do you say dog in French?
Isaac: Poodle!
(Bobo then laughs so hard she could wet herself.)
Isaac: What!? That is how you say dog in French! I know it.
Bobo (through fits of laughter): Ok, ok ... Well, tell your Mom you know how to say dog in German now.
Isaac: But how do you say dog in German?
Bobo: Shepherd! (continuous fits of laughter followed by a phone call to me to recite the conversation).
Man, I love this age. Actually, I love EVERY age of childhood. Keep the laughter coming Isaac. You rock.

We left many windfall apples lying on the ground under the apple tree this year. Despite the snow in excess of 'four and twenty blackbirds' descend on our garden at any one time to feed on them! There is, of course, much bickering between them. There are one or two starlings and a redwing in this photo too. I have never seen so many blackbirds in one place in my life.
Marmotta1 wanted to show me, how you get close ups from (basically very shy) marmots and how she succeeded in getting within touching (no one cannot touch them) distance to marmots in the Engadina.
Marmotta1 was crawling about 1 meter further, when a stupid (mountain-) biker passed her and stopped just a couple of meters to the right at the top of the hill (about a meter from another marmot, which he didn't notice, either).
No need to say, that both marmots disappeared and the close-up pic was not possible any more.
