How many times is this scrap yard going to get away with purposley setting fire to hundreds if not thousands of tires ...
It used to be a yearly phenomena ... We had wondered how teh authorities had managed to put a stop to it all only to see, just last evening, that they had not stopped, more 'stock piled' the tires as this was by far the largest fire at that scrap yard to date.

This is a type of redbud that has it all backward. In the spring and summer its leaves look downright autumnal. They're dark red, orange and yellow - rather like the leaves on the outer branches that stick out. In the fall the leaves become green! I looked for a picture I took in the early summer to show what I mean but I couldn't find it.
Tarn Hows, or The Tarns, is one of the most visited spots in Lakeland, and in high season can be literally packed with people. It is a beauty spot that must not be missed, yet is not entirely typical of the local landscape, for the tarn is partly artificial, being three tarns joined together in the 19th Century, and most of the trees surrounding it are conifers.
The attraction is its sheer beauty, surrounded by thick woodland, and views towards Wetherlam, the Helvellyn range and the Langdale Pikes.
There is a 1.5 mile path round the tarn that is level and well maintained and thus suitable for wheelchairs.

Western Tiger Swallowtail has such tattered wings that I am amazed it can still not only fly, but maneuver quite nicely everywhere in the blossoms.
The Physics of Butterfly Flight:
(Inside Science TV) -- If you have ever heard someone mention The Butterfly Effect, the analogy that the wind from a butterfly's wings or any other tiny variations can cause huge weather effects somewhere else in the world, it may make you wonder, how do butterflies make all that wind in the first place?
Butterflies are totally the dancing queens of the animal world! They have huge wings for their tiny bodies. Their wings are way bigger than many other insects of the same weight. And new research shows butterflies don’t even need all of that wingspan -- their wings are so massive they can fly even with half their wing cut off.
So how does an insect that is huge, brightly colored, and extremely visible, avoid getting eaten by predators?
Well, those massive wings are the answer!
Because the size of the wings are so big, they make it easier for the whole insect to maneuver. A butterfly's huge wings are like having a massive rudder on the back a ship -- the bigger the rudder, the faster the ship can turn. If you have a little rudder, you can-t turn as fast.
If you've ever tried to catch a butterfly, you'll see that those suckers are tricky!
Butterflies also use their wings to make an erratic fluttering pattern -- which is unique to butterflies -- and very hard for predators to predict. Rather than flapping their wings up and down like birds (who fall victim to hungry predators all the time!), butterflies contract their bodies making a figure-8 pattern with their wings. As the butterfly's body contracts, the motion pushes air under their wings, effectively helping it "swim" through the air.

How to destroy your dance è una sfida contro il tempo dai toni pulp e il gusto ludico.

The "Open In..." feature is one powerful feature in iOS7. Most apps now has the ability to open a doc, image or whatever else in any installed app that can read the file type on your iPad. This option took a whole new meaning the other day when I was chatting with some fellow iPaders about editing images from the cloud on the iPad. I had already been using this feature to work within photo editing apps without having to save each time. "Open In...", actually lets you do it in a quasi-cloud kinda way without having to save locally. I tested this with Google Drive, but it is possible that it works with Dropbox, Skydrive and the numerous other cloud based services. Click the link below for a full walk through...

Get Ex Back Now proven method free advice on how to get your ex back relationship best get back in the box: innovation from the inside out ==>
This is what the page looks like when Ryan is done with it. He literally outlines every line and defines the contours and shape of everything. Depending on the movement of the object or person or whatever, lines may need to vary in thickness or angle, etc. It takes an incredible amount of artistic ability to be able to look at a pencil sketch and determine ink lines.
Ryan works with brushes and nibs. I have no idea about the brands or sizes or anything, but the nibs look like this and the brushes are regular paint brushes. I also have no idea what brand of ink he uses, but I think that is actually a studio secret, so I probably couldn't tell you anyway. They all use a specific type and buy it in crazy bulk from the only art store locally that will custom order it for them. It's black, obviously, that's all I know.
But if you just look at the image now - anything that is black is filled in BY HAND. Each page is 11" x 17" to give you some perspective. Depending on the difficulty of the content, pages can take several hours or days to complete. A comic book is typically 22 pages per month, so as you can see a good inker has to learn to work quickly. A lot of inkers will take on an apprentice or background artist to help them get through the deadlines. Ryan doesn't use any background artist help and instead works crazy days - there have been times when he has worked nearly 36 hrs straight.
When he is done, he scans the image and sends it to the colorist. 99.999% of all colors today are done with computer, there are very few artists who still work with traditional paints but they are out there somewhere. This one was done in Photoshop. click here for the finished version or here for Step 1
How Many Angels can dance on the Head of a Pin? well these little MochiMochi angels are so chubby & cute I doubt even one could do much of a dance on a pin.
