ADB Pakistan Resident Mission Cricket Team AKA PRM Tigers beat the World Bank Cricket Team by 24 Runs.
On Saturday, 24 Jan 09, a 25 overs match was played between PRM tigers and WB's cricket team. World Bank won the toss and elected to bowl. PRM tigers made126 runs for loss of 9 wickets. The worldbank team was all out for 104 in twenty second overs. Great victory.

My 365 art project, where I create a year’s worth [yep, 365] of digital collages, with indie songs as my subject.
Tucked well away off the beaten track,Tarn Hows must be one of the gems of the lake district.Found a stones throw away from Coniston,the Hows offer some quite stunning views across to the distant Langdale's and the Helvellyn ranges.
The National Trust bought half the land off Beatrix Potter,whom herself had aquired the land back in 1930.She subsequently left the NT the remainder of the land in her will.
There are several walks in the area including one of about 1.5 miles that follows the shoreline around the tarn.A stunning place to visit at anytime of the year.

The very picturesque Tarn Hows in Cumbria, once owned by Beatrix Potter is now managed by the National Trust and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the area. The Tarn Hows area originally contained three much smaller tarns, Low Tarn, Middle Tarn and High Tarn, There is a 1.5 mile, level path round the tarn and views towards Wetherlam, the Helvellyn range and the Langdale Pikes.
One of those questions that everyone asks, and nobody wants to answer. Ironically, my research has been going pretty well this year.

hidden truths,
suppressed knowledge,

than physical chains,
all internalised now,
patterns set in stoned hearts,
numbed minds,
paralysed spirits and souls.

This is why,
Why they did this,
Did this to the children then,
But still doing it today,
Hidden under other titles,
names and acts,
even by herself,
even by myself,
internalized patterns now,
owned and polished,
as precious gems.

the battle is now within,
camouflaged as heritage,
needing to be freed,
freeing our own,
own spirits and souls,
our own free wills set into flight,
freeing our own bound capacities,
defrosting our own frozen potentials,
from the oppressors hands,

hidden within.

this is Maggie and May, Missy's twin girls born last summer - as you can see, they have grown into beautiful yearlings - soon, Missy will chase them away, as she prepares to give birth to the next generation - hopefully, they will continue to visit our yard through the seasons, as do their brothers Bud and Jake and sister Jorja:-)

By the way, Cervenak struck out for Buffalo to mercifully end the 16-1 debacle. Who struck him out? Toby Gardenhire, a utility infielder, and the son of Minnesota Twins manager, Ron Gardenhire. The Red Wings had run out of pitchers! Gardenhire's mother was a spectator at the game.
