:-)))))

Awful pic I know, but sadly my only interior view from here.

How Caple's church of Saints Andrew & Mary appears at first sight to be a complete medieval parish church, but in actual fact only the chancel survives of the ancient building, the rest having been rebuilt in 1693-5 in a sympathetic style.

It is the interior furnishings that make this church special, with much 17th century carved woodwork and even part of a 16th century German altarpiece mounted on the chancel wall. For me though it was the stained glass that stole the show, with no less than six beautiful Arts & Crafts windows by A.J.Davies (the chancel south window in gorgeous blues and whites is the best, along with a lovely but difficult to photograph Virgin & Child above the chancel arch). There is also an equally impressive war memorial window in the nave, apparently by Powell's, and a further by Preedy in the transept chapel.

My photographic record isn't quite complete here; I timed my visit initially well, catching the tail end of a wedding, but the warden who stayed afterwards was uncomfortable about me taking more than just window shots, thus I only got one blurred interior view and the most important windows, but much of this proved futile anyway without a decent tripod, so I hope to return some day.

One of my favourite songs from the last year is 'How to Save A Life'

play the simple version of the piano part.

The idea of dressing "crossdressing" your age is not about changing your personal style as the years go by, but rather adapting your wardrobe to reflect your style in an age-appropriate fashion. Just because you have turned 41 doesn't mean you should donate all your skinny jeans and start

Really pleased how this one turned out. Lots of great colours by night.

This origami face changer expresses three different states of eyes and mouth. An interesting thing is you can also mix these states.

Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to tie the Darari Obi. I'm sending this to you because I left the kimono mock up with Julianne to rehearse in. I don't know if she'll actually need to tie the obi for rehearsal, but I wanted to make sure you had the option. Here are some other videos to help with putting the kimono on.

Here is the link to the original photo of the tutorial if you're finding this hard to read. You'll need to click "download image" on the right hand side. It should be just bellow the button that says "add to favorites." yuna19.deviantart.com/art/Darari-Obi-tutorial-32519522

This one shows how to put the kimono on. The main thing here is it shows how to adjust the length of the kimono so that it doesn't drag on the ground. For the wedding kimono we'll use the full length with the train, but for the less formal kimono we'll want to shorten it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXb3EiM0Bhs&feature=youtube_g...

This shows how to tie the Obi Age (the padded piece that helps shape the obi in the back):

How heavy is a cloud? by Giselle Beiguelman, is a multimedia installation comprising video, audio, stamps, and photography that occupies Galpão VB prompting the audience to venture into a mysterious, unknown territory of family inheritance. Born into a Polish-Jewish family, Giselle Beiguelman morphs into a traveler of memories for this project, visiting her family’s home country and questioning herself, investigating landscapes and her own past, revising a traceless history, and ultimately creating a lyrically-charged piece of stark images. How heavy is a cloud? was commissioned by Culture.pl as part of a program to promote Polish culture in Brazil in 2016.

In 2019 the Government plans to run a new spending review – setting out how much money it will give each department. In doing so, it will shape the future of public services and investment. It will have to declare whether it is still attempting to shrink the deficit or departing from the course of austerity. It will also have a chance to explain its vision of the UK after Brexit.

A new report from the IfG argues that past spending reviews have failed in important respects. Future ones should be run differently in order to improve people’s lives and achieve the Government’s goals.

The report was introduced by Martin Wheatley, Senior Fellow at the Institute for Government.

The event was chaired by Bronwen Maddox, Director of the Institute for Government.

To discuss the findings:

James Bowler, Director General, Public Spending, HM Treasury

Simon Parker, Director of Strategy, London Borough of Redbridge

Made from, cardboard, foam Crayola clay, tinfoil, paint, and an 8x10 photo

www.thrivecollective.org/portfolio/i-am-longwood/

In June, the Longwood section of the Bronx became a little brighter and more colorful. Students from PS 333 and 335 worked together on a shared schoolyard mural that offers a glimpse into how they see their neighborhood and how it shapes their identity. For six weeks, students from six classes in the building — three classes from each school — joined us in the yard to help paint the mural, along with dozens of volunteers on Saturdays. The results were fantastic.
