A close up of the hand of the main Buddha's image inside the ordination hall of Wat Mahathat Worawihan.
RenownTravel: Although the founding date of the temple is unknown, it is believed that the Wat Mahathat dates back to the late Mon Dvaravati era or the Khmer era. Objects found during excavations suggest the first structures were built between eight to ten centuries ago. Today nothing remains of the original structures. The prangs have been rebuild and enlarged many times over the course of the centuries.

Wherever you are
You know that I adore you
No matter how far
Well, I can go before you
And if ever you need someone
Well, not that you need helping
But if ever you want someone
Know that I am willing
Oh and I don't want to change you
I don't want change you,
I don't want to change your mind
I just came across a manger
Out among the danger
Somewhere in a stranger's eye
Wherever you go
Well, I can always follow
I can feed this real slow
If it's a lot to swallow
And if you just want to be alone
Well, I can wait without waiting
If you want me to let this go
Well, I'm more than willing
Family fun after overnight snow. About 2 inches of snow fell overnight. It is rare event in Bath and not lasting long. So everyone rushed out to enjoy it. Primrose Hill, Bath, BANES, England UK.

Sharing a moment. Along a narrow ledge, mom offers guidance, and a little protection ... or is she just sneaking in for a cuddle.
I was so flattered when Ludi asked if she could work with me, it also made me so nervous as she is very talented ( Ludi's Flickr). This photo was hard fought and took way too much time due to numerous little issues. I like to think that we overcame those difficulties even if I am still sporting the black eye. She has a good right hook, so don't mess with her! :-)
Anyway, for me, this photo will, sort of, be part of two very different story lines that are underway. First, there is the ongoing saga of Aquacade in her battle on a remote outpost, and help has arrived. The second? Well that will play out in due course!
This photo was taken as part of my project "Covid19- A country in quarantine". At that point, people weren't used to having to wear masks. A depressing time.

Awakening to another day, an older barn and empty silo have only memories of an active daily life but now the barn is used for other lesser but useful things, like storage. As we age, our careers may be over but we can find niches of help that enrich the lives of those around us, and, our own.

The Langur Monkeys in the tree lower the branches so the spotted deer beneath can reach them. The help each other by looking out for predators each warning the other, the deer with their great eyesight and hearing, and the monkeys with their elevated position in the trees.

The Bluff Transfer power helps out a westbound grainer that stalled out at Jackson Street a few hours earlier. The headend is just about to head around the corner to Rollins Avenue. The 60M pair will cutoff up ahead, and grainer will be off to Willmar.

Dressing to go out to dinner, I fumbled with the clasp of my necklace.
"Honey, could you help with this, please?" I asked, seeing my husband descend the stairs, behind me, in the reflection of the foyer mirror.
Bending my head down a little, giving him access to the clasp, I felt him expertly connect the links, lightly kissing the nape of my neck before taking a step back.
"My hero," I thanked him, smiling and raising my head.
"Exactly what a man likes to hear when he enters a room," joked my husband, coming into the foyer -- from the living room!
My eyes went to the mirror.
No one stood behind me!
(Thank you to Bailey for the lovely gown, necklace, and hair!)
