It's like Han Solo frozen in carbonite :p. Too much Star Wars?

That's right I did shoot first, Ha!

(by Hot Toys)

Loving these guys :) Finally, to have a proper Chewie and a damned fine Han in 1:6 scale... things have come on in leaps and bounds (unfortunately including the price, but I didn't need *both* kidneys) since my first 12" Han & Chewbacca, the original Palitoy/Kenner versions, way back when.

Heck, I'm giggling like a schoolgirl each time I play with these new chaps :D

*[We had such a good time at this new Hollywood Studio's exhibit back in Dec/2019 that we came back for the grand opening week of a new 2nd exhibit that they just completed. Unfortunately, many of the exhibits were shut down (including this new one) because it was too cold, the machinery does not operate properly if the outside temp is below 40 degrees, and we were at about 35 degrees! LOL For Florida that is very low! So, I just took all the new exterior shots.

for a company holiday-party we checked it out. As expected, it was jammed in the daytime with a 90+ minute wait for the ride. We went back in the evening (with a 35 minute wait) and it was very cool! With everything all lit-up at night it was fantastic and we truly felt

as if we were on the Galaxy's Edge! A must for the Star Wars fan!]

Restaurants and shops include Oga's Cantina, Savi's Workshop, and the Droid Depot. The land opened in 2019, replacing the park's Streets of America section. "Well, safety ain't the point of a joyride, Threepio."

―C-3PO and Han Solo, after Paploo steals a speeder bike

Speeder bikes, also known as hover bikes, were open-air repulsorlift vehicles, usually carrying one or two passengers. Speeder bikes emphasized speed and maneuverability over conventional speeders and were popular with thrill-seeking teenagers and military scouts.

A typical speeder bike had a maximum altitude of 10 meters (32 feet) and could thus maneuver deftly over very rough terrain. Some companies manufactured extras like sidecars for speeder bikes.

"Part of the daily routine is to recognize the exteriors of the Echo Base, especially near the power generators."

"Their primary target will be the power generators."

―General Carlist Rieekan, during the Battle of Hoth

Power generators were used throughout the galaxy to supply large amounts of power to cities, bases, factories, starfighters, and planetary weapons. Smaller power generators existed which were able to provide continuous power for portable heavy weapons, vehicles, structures, and machinery.

Both the Galactic Empire and the Rebellion used power generators at their bases to keep their communications arrays, base shields, turbolaser towers, and mining facilities functioning at peak levels. They were also used by numerous other factions such as the Zann Consortium and the Hutt Cartel.

"Captain visits a Hoth trench, and takes a look at the conditions in the trenches before the Battle"

Echo Base was the settlement established by the Rebel Alliance on the frigid planet of Hoth in the wake of the Battle of Yavin, so named due to its strange acoustics.

Less than a month after its establishment, the base was discovered by the Galactic Empire who then invaded Hoth, forcing the Rebels to evacuate.

Grasping the prized trophy firmly, Boba Fett braves a welcoming sand storm as he marches towards Jabba's Palace. In a place notorious for its pirates, bandits and scavengers, no prize is secure until it reaches the safety of a large payment.

"That's NOT how the Force works!"

Han's crankiness was one of my favorite parts of "The Force Awakens", maybe because it fits Harrison Ford so well. I only just opened this Han figure, and while it's pretty good, I wish they'd made his typical costume instead of one he had for 5-10 minutes. Chewie's bowcaster is from the "Last Jedi" w/Porg version and very detailed, but the damn bow & scope keep falling off!

My favourite scene from all of Star Wars is this one! After all the hype and anticipation seeing the Falcon soaring through the Star Destroyers sent shivers down my spine and four years later it still brings me (and my two 4yo girls) so much joy!

I’ve made my instructions for my Micro Millennium Falcon free for a few days as a little Star Wars day pressie. Thanks to all of you for your likes, upvotes and kind comments, and May the Fourth be with you!! 💛

The first version of this was dark blue. Then I had my world turned upside down and learned that Han's coat is actually brown! So I rebuilt this using dark brown and barely had enough to finish.

Someday I'll build a tauntaun so Han can have something to cut open.

I wish you all a happy Star Wars day! :D

I had a lot of fun putting this together! Very proud with how all of it turned out, especially its suspension on the base... I also like the scale of this thing. It's bigger in person than you might think...

Through the creations that I build, I hope to inspire other young (or perhaps older) LEGO builders to unleash their inner creativity. We all need a positive way to express ourselves, so let's allow LEGO to be an extension of us. Your creativity belongs to you, and nobody can take that away. Build what you want to build, and how you want to build it.

Desk display Micro Millennium Falcons

Both versions in one package.

A few days ago I decided to mod the Death Star Trench Run set. In doing so I created a micro Millennium Falcon which actually turned out to be a lot better and more robust than I thought it would.

So I decided to make instructions for this Falcon and upload them to my Rebrickable page. But… there are a lot of micro falcons on Rebrickable.. but, maybe not that many that let you build both versions in one set of instructions.

So that’s what I did. Both Falcons, original trilogy and Kessel run. Both available in one package now at:

rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-115316/Rubblemaker/desk-display-...

The third section is depicting the area between opposing trench lines known as “no man’s land”. Attacks, even if successful, often sustained severe casualties because of being fully exposed to gun fire from both sides.

Mimbanese trench raids aimed at forcing temporary entry into the enemy’s line in order to destroy fortification and artillery. The Mimbanese attackers are wearing camouflaged uniforms in order to get as close as possible without being seen.

To counter that, the Empire is using lines of barbed wire to slow down and entangle attacking infantry while shooting them with E-web repeating blasters, protected within their bunkers!

Even if the Mimbanese are very brave, they seem to be fighting a loosing battle…

This is the final section I will be making, I hope you like it, any shares and feedback will be really appreciated! Let me know if you would like to see the three section combined!

"Did you hear that ? They shut down the main reactor."
