I'm something of a purist when it comes to Star Wars. While I enjoy The Clone Wars tv show and am able to sit through the prequel trilogy, I still prefer the original films, and for the most part, the unadulterated versions at that (although I don't mind watching the special edition of my favorite, Empire Strikes Back, as the changes are mostly subtle and add to the film rather than detract from it - eg. turning the glowing white panels in Cloud City into windows).
With that in mind, I'm very much in the "Han Shot First" camp, and it looks like Jackson is too.

Captain Solo minifigure, assembled from the other three, a new Brickarms NN-14 and a little Photoshop has breathed life into plastic minifigures in the background of static Takodana landscape.

*[We had such a good time at this new Hollywood Studio's exhibit back in Dec/2019 that we came back for the grand opening week of a new 2nd exhibit that they just completed. Unfortunately, many of the exhibits were shut down (including this new one) because it was too cold, the machinery does not operate properly if the outside temp is below 40 degrees, and we were at about 35 degrees! LOL For Florida that is very low! So, I just took all the new exterior shots.
They are pretty cool. Hope you like them. Thank you for looking]

prior (to above) on December 5th, 2019. Since we were in Orlando
for a company holiday-party we checked it out. As expected, it was jammed in the daytime with a 90+ minute wait for the ride. We went back in the evening (with a 35 minute wait) and it was very cool! With everything all lit-up at night it was fantastic and we truly felt
as if we were on the Galaxy's Edge! A must for the Star Wars fan!]

You know the "special modifications" Han Solo made to the Millennium Falcon? They improved the Falcon's performance, for sure, but there was a price. Just think what happens when you remove protective covers and expose the delicate mechanics needed to run the ship to the elements...

Sometimes you can see the most amazing things when hiking in the mountains, like this falcon skimming over the water. Luckily I had my camera with me and was able to get a shot.
Hello everyone !
I know i know... it's still waay to early to celebrate the actual 40th anniversary of Star Wars but i wanted to post this now since well it's May the 4th.
And man... can i think of a franchise that has more impact on my life than Star Wars ? actually i can but that's a topic for another day, i don't remember the first time i watched ANH i just remember being obssesed with it only to later be with ROTS and the prequel era, then TCW and then TFU... i eventually lost interes on the franchise until i gave it a re-watch around... 2011 i think and since then i've been more and more in love with Star Wars. And man to think that it's been around for 40 years and it's still relevant is mind blowing, and it just shows how it can unite so many diferent types of people from all over the world. Hell if it wasn't for it, i not have been introduced at LEGO at all, i'm not gonna tell you all of my story with SW since i find it kinda cheesy tbh... but all you need to know is that SW is very close to my heart.
That's part of the reason why most of my SW figures are arguably my best figs, i like to think that this is my way of showing how much i care about the franchise and how i apreciate every single detail of it. That's why i wanted to upload this just to show my love for it as i'm sure many of you will, and that's awesome ! i never really got a chance to meet many SW fans during school, or well... anywhere, until i met you guys, and to see everyone's figures, MOC's and much more is really inspiring to me, just makes me more proud to be a Star Wars fan.
So yeah... happy May the 4th !!!!!!

Recreate the daring rescue by Luke, Han and Chewie to free the imprisoned Princess from A New Hope with my new LEGO brick diorama. The model includes 2084 pieces and features a hidden mechanism that allows the prison cell door to be removed. An all-black frame makes for a premium display.

The idea to this micro version came after finishing the big falcon (75105) - it's just too massive. You need both hands to fly through your appartment.. sorry, the galaxy, and need more shelfspace than expected. So if I cannot play with the big falcon, now my minifigures can play with a minilennium falcon.

Finally Boba Fett founded carbonized Han Solo (on a Kwik-E-Mart!) He only had an upcoming problem with two thiefs running towards him. Two Tusken Raiders wants to own a piece of history, too. Maybe Boba will thrown them a bone... err, donuts to chew.
An older frame from 2017 when I was playing and mixing two worlds together: Star Wars and The Simpsons. Looking this frame today makes me kinda happy, there's lots of hidden gems you'll not see unless you pay close attention.

Talc powder for snow, cage around the figures and Luke has string wrapped around his ankles. Do I focus my camera on the Wampa and blur out Luke or focus on Luke and blur out the Wampa. Choosing this one just made sense.
Imperial patrol rushed into the cantina and Luke immediately grabbed his lightsaber.

Boop's Scoops is a happy place on most any day, but on May 4th Betty knows the Star Wars gang will be in to celebrate!

The DSS-02 shield generator was a military-grade deflector shield generator manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards. Due to its high cost, it was mainly used by the Galactic Empire, though the Alliance to Restore the Republic managed to obtain one to protect its headquarters on the gelid planet Hoth.
The DSS-02 shield generator could project an 80 kilometer-wide impenetrable deflector shield around itself, which was enough to cover the entirety of Echo Base.

From left to right:
-Rey: she wear her outfit when she meet Luke. Give she Luke's lightsaber.
-Luke Skywalker (Dagobah): a simply version of the training outfit. I think Bieber' hair works.
-Han Solo: my favourite. The face and the legs are the same but I changed hair and torso and added a black coat.
-Anakin Skywalker (RotS): dark lord Vader from episode three "Revenge of the Sith"
-Captain Rex (SWR): my favourite character from the clone wars and rebels. Quite simply I forgot to post him time ago.
