This is the Guild Hall in Derby, taken in the evening. It is also known locally as the 'market place' and was built in 1828.
I hope to return soon and get a few more shots in different light and from different angles. This particular image is actually 3 shots taken in 'landscape orientation', starting from the ground and finishing with the sky, then magically sewn together in Lr and corrected for converging lines in Ps. The film simulation is Acros with a red filter.
If you get the joke... shhh

Been closed down awhile. I hope there's some way the store front and sign can stick around.

"The two properties have long been in need of renovation and refurbishment: The original Guild cinema was built in 1919 (its second screen, in a detached building, was added in 1983); the Gables in 1925. Last year it was reported that Landmark was seeking historic landmark status from the city for the Guild, but it is not currently included on the City of Seattle’s landmark list."
Window at Orphan Guitars. Gowanus, Brooklyn. This one's a semi-solid electric, I think. My own is a dreadnought.

I hope to build more of Aargidil in the future. But boy, what a pain this thing was to build and keep together for photos! Enjoy!
The Xiqin Guild Hall in Zigong, Sichuan, China, was built by wealthy Shanxi salt merchants in 1736. Today it is the Salt Industry History Museum.

Hello!
This foggy, swampy outpost is another freebuild for the GoH forum on Eurobricks - I suppose that's not much of a surprise anymore! I feel like this is my best MOC up-to-date, or at least I hope so because getting those three roofs to sit flush with one another was frustrating as hell. Also, if you're wondering what that odd base is about, well, it's the best I could do with the dark green I had on hand. That color is damn expensive!
Anyways, I had a lot of fun building this one, and I hope you enjoy! Feedback always welcomed!
And to you gator fans out there, I apologize for the brutality witnessed above, but that's some darn good eating!
