This was taken at the summit of Cotopaxi in Ecuador at 19,348’. A year ago I started to follow P.B. and I lost twenty pounds and 10% body fat in two months. I’m sure it played a role in this climb.
Thanks,
Albert

At the 2008 Northern Voice Tiki party, Scott Leslie wowed us (well I was wowed) with his rendition of a poem only geeks could grok, called “Trackback Love”. I grabbed some video with my little Canon Powershot- the lighting is awful but the audio is not bad

And here is Scott's poem:

We met in a crowded UBC conference room in 2003
He said "Blog"
I said "RSS"
Our eyes met,
(And even though no one else in the room had a clue what we were talking about)
right away, we knew.
At the break, we rushed,
breathlessly,
into the hall,
URLs nervously scribbled
on business cards
exchanged amidst the blush of
having found someone, anyone,
who knew what a blog was.
We promised we'd write. Keep in touch.
But weeks passed without a sound.
Then one day he linked, and someone clicked.
And then I linked, and someone clicked.
Deep within our referrer logs,
we found each other anew.
Soon his link was on my blogroll,
though, snif, mine took a bit longer to show up on his.
Then links to each other by first names,
and comments almost daily.
People began to wonder.
But not for long,
soon he was linking to any old blog out there,
commenting around,
like some technorati slut.
Suddenly, I was just another blog
We still see each other sometimes,
Show up in a lot of the same sidebars,
our feeds intermingling in readers everywhere,
But it'll never be the same as before.
Still, every now and then,
a little trackback lets me know the love is still there.
