anne had gotten mom some hanahiyori brand green tea chocolates. i never had green tea with chocolate before. it's a strange combination. pretty good, but i still prefer my dark chocolate truffles.

Jenny brought me Green Tea from starbucks today because she felt bad for not giving me anything when I did a photoshoot for her and her boyfriend.

No photoshop tricks for this, just steam on the lens from a freshly poured cup.

totally influenced (and inspired) by the eclairs at sadaharu AOKI & fauchon, i decided to make some as well. i like them thin and longish, instead of the short and puffy ones we normally see. thought i succeeded but not quite, i actually still hv trouble piping them into equal lengths & widths. most just turned out wiggly and squiggly but still, they're delicious =) i used pierre hermé's pâte à choux recipe, which is by far the best! maybe becoz of the addition of milk, it makes the pastry really really fragrant!

p/s : i love exotic flavored eclairs! maybe i'm gonna attempt a violet cassis one next, or even white choc raspberry or litchi rose lol. totally dislike the conventional ones thats been filled with chocolate or custard :(

a fresh combination for busy morning - green tea & white chocolate scone with a cup of green tea.
