Road trip along North Cascades Highway

Found a nice lawn, sunny and warm, in the midst of Gothenburg.

 

Unfortunately, there are trams passing here every seven minutes, so I do not get much rest.

A marauder Green-crowned Brilliant, (male) defending its favored feeding site, while a female (same species) circumvent male dominance and gain access to a nectar-rich flower.

A beautiful green valley seen on Wild Dog Road, near Apollo Bay, Vic.

Whenever we visit Apollo Bay, we always go for a drive up this winding gravel road... the scenery is beautiful!

Rough green snakes are a tree-dwelling species found throughout the Chesapeake Bay region; frequently climbing in low vegetation near water. They are non-venomous with a very docile disposition. Called “rough” because of their rough-looking scales that cover their bright green bodies. These serpents are also skillful swimmers.

An interesting spin on a Green Lantern. Reminds me of the DC character "Jack O'Lantern" (Global Guardians).

 

I added in the PS Elemental Action on to his ring and "power battery/lantern" (said it was some kind of hanging art/tchotchke from Turkey he had at home) and darkened his face paint ("satin" setting on a layers adjustment)

LNER class V2 no. 60800 'Green Arrow' is seen heading north towards Colton Junction with the 'Scarborough Flyer'. I believe the date to be 12 September 1999, the train being steam hauled from Hull to Scarborough via York.
