Darth Maul hanging from my arm, waiting for the fluids to fill its wings and strengthening them. There was a time when its wings were still soft and floppy (like tissue paper!) and I was so worried for it. It was flopping about and seeing its wings like that (like in a Salvador Dali painting) made me want to cry - even though I knew it was a temporary situation.

I love that the species name is agamemnon.

It wasn't really wee-ing on me...that was the waste that had accumulated while it was in the pupa. Wasn't disgusted because it looked like water. If it was brown, I would have been repulsed.
