New ATI Radeon HD 4870 graphics card due to be launched on June 16.

1998 Voodoo2 is triples the performance of the original Voodoo Graphics for a new level of gaming performance with higher resolutions, multiple textures per pixel, and higher frames per second. A newfeature on the 3D Blaster Voodoo2 is ability to use two identicalcards to ramp up performance.

I thought about re-doing this photo and trying to make the focus on the ATi logo. But I prefer Nvidia so I decided not to.

Nothing exotic. I just need to light up a screen or two. This one was pretty cheap, and I figured the fact that it was manufactured by the motherboard manufacturer could only increase the odds that everything would actually work after I snapped it together.

This is the OEM version of ATI's next-generation R600 DX10 graphics card. Measuring 12.4", it's nearly 3" longer than the retail version (9.5") which is similar in size to NVIDIA's GeForce 8800 GTX model. Intially ATI will offer two versions, the HD 2900 XTX and HD 2900 XT, a third model should follow in due course. Because there is so much conflicting information on this product, I think it best to leave the specs until the card is officially launched in Tunis on the 23/24th of April. A poor quality photo of the retail version can be seen here. (Photo: 4Gamers.net)

in the ongoing attempts to elucidate what, exactly, is plaguing my computer, I bought a new graphics card. turns out that my old graphics card wasn't the problem. now I have to decide whether to just enjoy the upgrade, or return it. either way, I still have to figure out what's causing my crashes...

This used to be in my htpc, but I "had" to replace it with a 8800GTS... The 6600 was nice and silent though.

Computex, Asia’s biggest technology trade show, is about to begin—and Nvidia’s kicking it off with the announcement of its newest graphics card, the 980 Ti. Like the 780 Ti of 2013, the new 980 Ti is positioned between Nvidia’s high-end option and its flagship Titan

The inside of my green LED computer case... and to think some people said "glowing LED sucks..." pfft! I fart in their general direction. Its nice to be in a dark room with glowing LED computer stuffs around you.

Welcome to green world.
