Charlie just emailed this over to me, some rad art work for a christian flyer, that's exactly what I look like when Im thinking
more from my collection of vintage ads at:
Another from the guys before they disbursed in all different directions to explore higher learning. I hope these images age like a fine wine.
Strobist: AB1600's left and right rear of group through gridded 36" strips. AB800 through 22" beauty dish, boomed above camera. All fired with PW+II's.
Took a lot of attempts to get this right due to the unpredictability of the enemy cars and the timing... if you don't enter photo mode the instant the explosion starts, the fireball is behind the car. Worked out well though :)
This is a running testing setup (like www.flickr.com/photos/flickrsven/4821388277/), but equipped with 2x PCIe graphics cards, altogether with four video outputs (which are actually used here: www.flickr.com/photos/flickrsven/4817103420/). You can see two WD Caviar Blacks in the front, while the right one is mounted in a special vibration absorbation case. There are three displays connected in the background.
Oh - and there are funny other details, just hover the picture ;-)
