This picture took much time for seemingly small results. I’m still trying to becoming proficient at creating composite images from custom elements, as opposed to manipulating a picture that is a capture of reality. The paper bag texture is CGI, the Asian Sun as well, both from tutorials the great Google found for me. The barbell, the flame, and the Olympic gold medal are from the stock exchange.
The flame’s bowl, the rainbow strap on the gold medal, the starry background, the bird in the lower-right corner, and the olympic rings (with the red one not intersecting so no one sues me) are original elements or from different brushes.
A long time friend and colleague to Xavier, Sabine Stonebender is a premier creator, artist and builder in Second Life of the popular Zero Point.
Her Zero Point sim is so well known, that every builder, including corporate builders, have gone to her sim to study her immersive art.
She has once again, created a stunning build. And guess, what folks? There's a store there for all of us who are shopaholics!
I did these tee's earlier this year. There were only 60 made, each with their own hand-made numbered packaging and their own special version of the DON'T DVD!

Such punchy graphics and in these light washes it could be marble, steel or concrete.
It's a bit of a love/hate thing with such manmade imposition on the topography but for all its inorganic form, i'd argue quite the opposite and see it living in the landscape. There's a great exhibition at LACMA, the Broad I think?, from here I picked up a copy of Frank Gohlke's 'thoughts on landscape'. He quotes Brassai's take on different types of photographers..."some are conscious of the living thing but have no sense of form, others confuse the art of photography with 'artistic' photography, and let the living thing escape them...")
An interesting use of fabric graphics, stretched tight into a concealed frame and installed on a feature wall at the new Campus for Chesterfield College
