This was my first place of work at Folio Graphics just outside Maesteg - back then all artwork was produced by hand using repro cameras, typeset sheets and paste-up - no applemacs! We moved to Bridgend a few years later where stayed for 15 years in total before health & other problems forced me to make a career change.

MGFest presents a series of audio visual art happenings featuring live performances by: Ghostly's Matthew Dear aka Audion who recently wrapped up a European tour, the multi-talented composer and instrumentalist Benn Jordan widely known as The Flashbulb, and lightrhythm visuals sought after sketch projectionist Shantell Martin from Tokyo, plus many more surprises TBA with nightly eye-opening events.
MGFest hosts workshops and lectures about the shift in motion-picture audiences and explores the new technologies that motion designers will need on the video internet frontier. I normally don't like Miley Cyrus. But the whole mix of that dress, her face, and how gosh darn awesome that bike of hers is, made me want to do a blend of her. I was also a little sick of doing Taylor =\. This was done in paint, just like 'Head First Fearless'. I blended in paint, colored and added text (brushes from Outspoken-Kate and Fifth Avenue) and stuff in Mozilla Firefox, and contrasted in Word. Pictures from Miley HQ.

My submission for the 2011 Colorado TSA Promotional Graphics event. I'll remove the copyright after the event, I suppose. Although I might use this at nationals....who knows.
The challenge was to create a design to represent the Promotional Graphics event. There were a couple other events to choose from like CAD and Dragster Design, but those didn't sound like any fun. hahaha.
