Another location on my 2-page long list was the @GettyMuseum campus. We only spent 1-hour here. Not even close to long enough.

Besides the amazing architecture, there was an exhibit of Imogen Cunningham's photographs. Bonus.

I was imagining this to be the successor to my Arrivals & Departures shot from a few days ago. It's, of course, more graphical and impersonal...I wasn't feeling the "Caught Between" part for this shot so much so I opted to call it just Arrivals & Departures Part II!

I've written a little Behind The Scenes post on my re-launched website about the previous shot, so if it's at all interesting to you, please take a second to check it out:

classic gray scale ...

after yesterday's strongly colored image of Mack, I actually wanted to present a powerful colorful Scully today and then became more fascinated by this natural gray scale, as well a Scully ... and loved the human and graphical elements ...

and the disturbance of the minimal offset bench ...

My Name is Bart Ros and I am a Landscape Photographer. Originally I started out as a Multimedia Engineer, but after years of working with digital media I also ventured into Photography and recently also Timelapse and video work. From A young age I have always been busy with drawing, painting and the dismantling of Radio's, TV and old Camera's. These technical and also design interests have led me to my current profession in which I try to combine the development of Websites, Graphical design, Digital Marketing a as well as my passion for Photography. Photography allows me to capture the world as I see it. shared with pixbuf.com

A beautiful morning glow, a thin mist over the water, a majestic heron posing, in a very graphical natural frame... Almost perfect conditions, except for... What you see flying in the dark above the bird's head is not dust, it's an army of mosquitos! I got bitten a dozen times!

Urbex is not really my thing, but I have been wanting to shoot the IM Cooling Tower near Charleroi for quite a while, because its graphical nature appeals to me… The hard part is trying to come up with something original in a place that was so “overshot”. Hope I succeeded with this one…
