Magic Lantern
Magic Lantern is an Add-on App for DSLR Cameras. It has some very useful utilities that OEM was not included. For example, Auto ETTR, Dynamic Range Improvement, Focus Peaking, Magic Zoom Window for fine tune focus, Overlays, Spotmeter, False colour for precise exposure control. Waveform for perfect green screen lighting, vectorscope for colour tones, In-camera interval meter, motion detection, Trap focus, follow focus, rack focus, Focus Stacking, etc.
Magic Lantern now is still free to download and is easy to load into your camera. For now Magic Lantern is available only for some older Canon EOS models, check for details on their Website:
** Ensure your download is from its official Website. Download it first into your computer and let the system scan for virus. Extract the compressed file into ordinary files before loading it into your camera s memory card. Use this card for your normal shooting, then you are done. The Add-on will be loaded by your camera automatically.

I am usually posting colorful photos, but this scene surprised me with its perfectly graphical elements that stand out much better without any color distractions... taking into account that there were not so many colors anyway. :-) So let it be one of my rare black and white postings...
This is a very characteristic scene of a birch tree forest that you would often see in Latvia and other Baltic countries, in Scandinavia, and probably in few other European countries, too. It might be found even in many of our painters' works. But for me it always associates with some of the most dear childhood impressions and memories in Latvia... maybe simple, yet beautiful scenery.
