The Starlight Gala is an annual fundraiser for the Montessori Learning Centre.
The illustration is "Rocket to Saturn" by Portia Remnant, from Shutterstock. The typefaces are Sloop for the script 'The', Matrix Script for the larger type and Dax for the details at the bottom. This page was folded in half to create a front cover and back cover.
For display at Jack Gallery - New Orleans from April 24 through May 2.
It's a variation on a theme of something I've already done, but I was running out of time.
Our concept design for the Royal Children's Hospital Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ear Health Programme (Brisbane) involved re-branding the name to Deadly Ears and creating a suite of promotional materials aimed at educating the community about the importance of ear health. We created three chidlren (as the programme targets children under the age of 5).

A studio shot of the product packaging I designed for my Graphic Design III class at UWM. My product was racing parts and accessories called APEX. The primary packaging was aluminum with a glass beaded finish and secondary packaging was cardboard.
We recently developed a new brand for high quality village accommodation targeting affluent seniors who do not want to live in typical mid-quality suburban retirement homes.
Given the sophisticated and affluent target market, the new brand had to have contemporary relevance yet still resonate with this older and largely female audience (while not alienating potential male residents). Via Everything Design's blog. Check out our website too.

The stylised flower (a variety of chrysanthemum, which is a traditional symbol for long life), the brand colour palette and the use of bas relief has quality parallels with grand buildings and premium heritage products. The bas relief also lends itself to use on embossed stationery and other paper based communications.
This is just a rough. So I don't want to hear any crap about my cutout job. They are istock images and I'm not going to spend the time to cut them out nice just to just to do it again. O and I know there is way to much text but thats not my choice.
