It's a collage of my late grandmothers hands and some silly little doodles of my own. I was listening to TOOL when I was making it, and its does kind of remind me of Adam Jones work.

Make Something Cool Every Day is a personal, (ideally-) daily design exercise wherein I churn out type-centric black and white drabbles using song titles, the Univers type family (Kozuka Gothic for Japanese type) and some wonderful public domain images. (IMG)

T-Shirt Design by Thurgood Marshal High School Students
Students were asked to design a t-shirt that was inspired by the word "highway". "Highway" was chosen as the subject of their design since this major cityscape feature is visible from the windows of their classroom. Each student designed their t-shirt using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. When they were finished, the designs were printed directly onto the shirts and heat set. The printing of the shirts was made possible by a generous donation of services by Mr. Willis.
Students at Thurgood Marshal found this project to be rewarding, as they proudly wore their shirts around campus for several days after the completion of the project. This has prompted many of the other students around campus to take an interest in industrial arts, as well as the creative arts.

A good typographic system, with an optimal contrast between different types of content, headlines, sub headlines, paragraphs, labels and so forth. However, having too many styles and weights within a layout is not recommended either.
This is print 6/14 of "The Con Series": a series of minimalist posters exploring the perceived visual aesthetic of Tegan and Sara's album "The Con". Each poster borrows a line from the lyrics of a song on the album, and illustrates it. Every poster is different, while adhering to an aesthetic of the album.
More ITS logo designs. I was thinking the different colors could represent different sections/departments
