Only a quickie today. For this weeks Macro Monday theme: Fruit.

I wanted black grapes, not red.

Always a pleasure in the garden. Muscari neglectum, Traubenhyazinthen.

I think I could have done this better if I'd given it more thought. Hey ho, never mind, determined not to be doing my daily photo at 2300 or later tonight.

Oggi sono stata ad assistere alla vendemmia. Era una splendida giornata di sole e mi sono divertita a vagabondare tra i filari ricchi di succulenti grappoli scintillanti al sole. Ho scattato fin troppe foto... Dovrete essere pazienti e sorbirvene alcune!!!!!

I hope I still have some grapes left on my Grape Vine after Hurricane Katia hits the UK tomorrow!

Traveling through the Loire Valley in France was delightful. I've never seen so many beautiful vineyards; the grapes were perfect and ready for harvest.

Thought I would break up my Slinky Set with a flower or two.

I cannot believe that I have been admiring Grape Hyacinth images on Flickr for over a year now, thinking I had never seen one in real life...I have since realised that I must walk round with my eyes shut as I have a slew of these come up every year in my front garden!! This was a real dumb moment!

I am feeling much better today, glands still up but other than that feeling okay.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and well wishes.

Grapes from our greenhouse

Our kids used to squeeze the grapes on the vine before they got a chance to develop. Now at 18 and 20, I have grapes to shoot. best seen large
