Lots of table grapes of many different types at a local farmers market.

Soon it would be hot glow-wine, like the people enjoy it at the christmas markets, here in Germany!

wild and getting ripe. Soon they will be purple and still tart. Occasionally I see people picking the grape leaves, presumably to stuff them, although they are mighty small. Maybe a nibble

CC Week 36 - My Favorite Things

CC Rainbow Game

One of my favorite things is wandering around the countryside not knowing what delightful "picture" I might find. These grapes are not in a vineyard, but in a park, and it appears that wildlife, including birds have been helping themselves to the grapes. You could hear loud noises coming from a nearby vineyard that sounded like gunfire. I was told it is air cannons that make noise to scare the birds away. Talk about making a peaceful scene much less peaceful. Other places use a mesh covering to protect the fruit. Coverings are ugly, but functional.

I like the way grapes often grow with varied colors of fruit, like this one.

The grape is ready to be picked up and if I don't do it soon it will fall down on the ground.

Grape vine in the backyard

Only a quickie today. For this weeks Macro Monday theme: Fruit.

I wanted black grapes, not red.

Always a pleasure in the garden. Muscari neglectum, Traubenhyazinthen.
