Carbon black hoppers roll past NS 8869 and 8760, which was waiting for a recrew I waited for some light-coloured hoppers to pass for the contrast (I was working solely in B&W at this point,) took a few photos of the engines up against the light series of cars just passing the second engine then saw the carbon black cars coming up. It wasn't until after I'd downloaded the photos that I realised the gradient pattern it'd formed--from black to very dark grey to lighter to white as you go up the cars. *G*

My felted wallets are crocheted from 100% wool yarn at a loose gauge and then put through several machine washing cycles which shrink each wallet into a solid piece of felt. These are then shaped, steamed and allowed to air dry before I carefully hand sew a decorative button and a nickel plated snap to each one.
