Looking more or less north just at sunset showed a large array of colors. I think this one would have been fantastic at the lake but I didn't have time to get there.....

Last glow, with evening flight.

As the morning light starts to catch the sand, the ripples and curves on the dunes turn into perfect gradients of light and dark. This photo was taken on the way up a 200m plus sand dune near Sossusvlei in the Namib Naukluft National Park, Namibia.

A Sri Lankan Weekend

1st successful attempt at a selective gradient. After trying with layers, I applied the gradient to the whole image and just erased around the stone to project the perception of greater clarity. Applied lens blur to the gradient to synthesize depth of field.

Not really happy with extreme edges and the subtle halo over the stone.

Original image was a faux IR from RAW. Any tips / suggestions are welcome.
