Gradient project complete and hanging in the art niche. Thanks to Vicki Welsh for amazing fabric to create with!
Getting back to my love of monochrome after looking at some of my inspirational fellow flickeranians. Wandering through open spaces and closed in different parts of the SW USA. Was lazy and decided to use modified Diafine processing but still happy despite increased grain in highlight areas. Thanks again to the guys and girls who continue to motivate.
thank you Mirka! (photo and editing by her using my actions)
this is an example of all the actions you will receive...
first 3 photos on Left column are edited with the vintage actions, the rest are gradients which can be used on top of the vintage edits or on their own.

Was taking some photos of Oldham / Manchester from a high point in Oldham and took this shot for fence Friday as part of the series HFF
Gradient project complete! My Photostream has an image of the plain fabric from Vicki Welsh, with just cord laid on it so you can see how beautiful this gradient is. colors are just perfect for my house, too. Woot!
Nice gradients on Saturn - I created this image from three Cassini grayscale images (CB2, MT3, and BL1).
Shibui Knits' (free) pattern and their Silk Cloud yarn. I love both. The yarn is knit with 3 strands held together and it makes the warmest, softest fabric while still being light and comfortable.
Added a very small gradient to upper left to better contrast the gradient across the entire photo. Otherwise completely as it came off the memory card. :)
It is simply a macro of one of those reflectors on poles you can put up along your driveway, on a tree, etc.
Aside from some sharpening this is straight out of camera. The natural gradient from orange to bluegreen kind of blew my mind.
It has been a while since i've gone out to take some pictures. School's been crazy busy lately, however, I think i'm ready to get back on track as summer's approaching! Definitely looking forward to some summer photography!
Fooling around with gradient again because i lost the light too soon today.
Brought my camera to school today, only one other person brought theres for com tech (*note i dont have a photography class at my school. . .). Sure it doesnt matter since were not taking anything serious, but i feel like im never going to find someone who likes taking these kinds of photos, are at least the ones i admire here on flickr.
