Here's another one that isn't terribly interesting, but I'm just experimenting and learning some different back lighting techniques.
I used 2 key lights with homemade diffusers. One on the left front, and the other on the right and to the back to highlight the edges. Then a 3rd light was used to hit the white background sweep. I had to play around quite a bit until I got the right effect. It would probably be a lot easier with some sort of rectangular lamp or a speedlight. I welcome any suggestions you might have to improve the effect.

The screenshot in the middle is actually composed from three screenshots, as it proved out to be next to impossible to get the ships in line in SiSi; they kept getting desync over and over again.
Buku ini berisi tutorial langkah demi langkah penggunaan Inkscape, program gambar desain grafis berbasis vektor yang mirip dengan CorelDraw, Freehand, atau Illustrator. Inkscape mendukung SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) yang banyak digunakan di bidang desain grafis. Buku ini ditujukan untuk pengguna komputer yang baru belajar desain grafis maupun yang sudah menguasai program gambar lain namun ingin menguasai Inkscape.
Bab 1 hingga 3 membahas pengenalan Inkscape dan tools yang disediakan Inkscape untuk membuat gambar sederhana dan mengedit gambar yang telah ada, serta penggunaan bentuk dasar seperti rotasi, scale dan skewing.
Bab 4 hingga 6 mengupas penggunaan ikon path dan control bar secara maksimal dengan perubahan effect pada gambar untuk membantu Anda menciptakan desain menarik. Beberapa menu yang dibahas adalah copy, duplicate dan clone, juga clip dan masking dalam pembuatan sebuah desain.
Bab 7 menjelaskan pengaturan posisi gambar. Inkscape seperti program desain lainnya difasilitasi dengan tools untuk mengatur posisi obyek dalam kanvas, misalnya Lower to Bottom, Lower one level, Raise one level dan Raise to Front, Align dan Distribute.
Bab 8 membahas pengelolaan obyek. Layer merupakan lapisan-lapisan yang dapat ditambahkan pada kanvas untuk menambahkan obyek baru. Layer ini memungkinkan untuk mengedit sebuah obyek tanpa harus mengganggu obyek lain. Pada layer juga dapat ditambahkan efek Blend seperti Multiply, Screen, Darken, Lighten, dan Opacity.
Bab 9 membahas penambahan style obyek, antara lain style Stroke dan Fill pada sebuah obyek. Style pada obyek dapat diidentikkan dengan warna obyek. Warna obyek secara umum dibedakan atas warna solid, gradient dan pattern.
Bab 10 membahas penambahan Live Path Effect, yaitu cara untuk memodifikasi bentuk path sebuah gambar tanpa harus mengubah style. Path dasarnya tidak hilang dan dapat langsung diedit pada kanvas. Live Path Effect akan memperbarui obyek secara live. Live Path Effect yang tersedia antara lain Bend, Pattern Along Path, Stitch Sub Path, Gear dan Knot.
Bab 11 mengupas filter SVG, yang berbeda dengan filter dalam program-program desain grafis lain. Apa yang dikatakan sebagai filter di program lain hanya dianggap sebagai filter primitif (sederhana) di SVG. Anda dapat menciptakan sebuah filter SVG baru dengan menggabungkan beberapa filter primitif menggunakan fasilitas Filter Editor.
Bab 12 menjelaskan pengelolaan warna dan template. Manajemen warna pada Inkscape perlu dukungan sistem operasi. Pengembangan untuk membuat template yang dibahas dalam bab ini adalah Perfect Bound Cover, yaitu dengan memodifikasi dokumen untuk membuat cover buku.

Setelah mengikuti tutorial dalam buku dan CD ini, pembaca akan mampu memahami prinsip desain grafis berbasis vektor dan menggunakan Inkscape di Linux untuk menggambar, mengedit gambar, dan memanfaatkan tools yang tersedia di Inkscape.

Buku Inkscape ini disertai sebuah CD berisi sistem operasi Linux BlankOn 6.0 Ombilin turunan Linux Ubuntu yang telah dilengkapi Inkscape. Coração recortado na parte colante do Post-It, colado na unha com TC e depois esmaltado por cima com uma mistura rosa de uns restos de esmalte.
Até que ficou boitinho :) Ainda não bem limpo porque deixei isso pra depois :)
So i went to my sisters house that she is staying at during this term for her school to stay over night. I brought my camera. So at 11pm i pulled out my camera to take a picture and i forgot my memory card in my computer. :( I was really upset because i wanted to take pictures in the morning when we went oout for breakfast, but i couldnt. So this is old from a week ago, but i posted the picture that i took in comments of my sister's photo wall. So i did take one photo that day, so im semi cheating. Uh this is the second time this has happened. Never again!!!
i just liked how the layers and gradients of our sky came through in this shot. maybe it is just clouds, but in my mind there is more to it.

It's normal practice to ease a gradient through a station (usually to level), so that trains are easier to control when braking for the stop. Historically, train braking was not so reliable that it could not be guaranteed that they would not roll away at stations with gradients. However, it's not always the case, and here, at Box Hill and Westhumble in Surrey, the grade actually increases through the station, from 1 in 300 to 1 in 237.
