Humpback whales, effortlessly diving & surfacing in unison. This pair even exhaled within a second or two of each other, blowing synchronised clouds of spray way up into the air above them.

Very occasionally, there are those rare moments when you just have to forget the shot, lower your camera & just look.

Hyannis, Cape Cod - August 2017.

This stately looking corncrib is the last remnant of a northern Illinois farm.Corncribs are usually the last structure remaining on these old farms due to their reinforced construction to hold tons of grain....

I love the glassy reflection of this Snowy Egret taking flight - wings to wings.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Getting a lot better with Black Dragon! Soon I will be more confident in blogging! :D

We spotted this Great Blue at the Isenberg Sandhill Crane Reserve. He was taking a quick break from hunting for food. Once a rare sight in the northeast US due to hunting pressure and pollution, great blue herons have staged a staggering comeback in the past few decades. We are always excited to see the Great Blue as it is such a big bird with beautiful blue plumage and graceful movements.

Two male Red-crested Pochards (Netta rufina) were framed at the very moment of their take off. This was very well earned frame for the perfect angle and I managed them after some long trials. The red crests was really looking royal under bright Sunshine. The backdrop Bokeh made a full justice to the beauty of these species in flight. Pics was taken from Purbasthali, West Bengal, India.

From tree to reeds, the Female Red-winged Blackbird gracefully landed with an amazing display of balance and poise.

capture this beautiful Cat's Whiskers on my mom's backyard garden.

Huge credit to GuppyStorm for the help on identifying the name of this gorgeous plant.

Walking down this street

Where the leaves

Started falling all around our feet

I wanna stay on that day

When you told

Me that we will meet again….

Where the leaves

Started falling all around our feet

I wanna stay on that day

When you told me that we will meet again some day,

But until then, Ill think of you

and Ill wait

The Eurasian griffon vulture. I could be in a minority, but in spite of being scavengers, I think they look handsome and graceful.

PS Waverley passing under Erskine Bridge

My wonderful orchid had bloomed for months, and today - after I had been on holiday for two weeks - she threw away all her flowers at a the same time. When I collected them they still looked so pretty and reminded me of swans with their bowed necks that I had to compose a picture to remember their beauty. Now isn't that sentimental?! ;)

One of the many bewick swans that overwinter each year at Slimbridge Wetlands Centre in Gloucestershire. At present there are only around 56 bewick swans left on site, the rest have started their migration back to Siberia
