Usually my photos of Jack-O-Lantern mushrooms are in color to show off the bright orange. In this one, I wanted to accentuate the graceful lines and how this shroom grew to maintain its balance. I, unlike the mushroom, was not at all graceful coming up off the ground.
Evening drive tonight to Lake Vermillion with a fair number of deer out on the move. Such beautiful and graceful runners.

Here is a small dried narcissi. The trumpet is 15mm long, so it really is a very small daffofil.

The Avocts are finally making their migratory flight through our area. I wait longingly for them each year and last night was our fist sighting. One was so graceful as he dipped down to zip some water.
