My experimentation with goatsbeard seedheads continues. This one is all about colour, textures and shapes. I like the abstract quality that I have achieved here, hope you do too.

We're Here - Music from the Decades
It still gives me goose bumps, nearly 50 years later. And that chord – you know the one – it just hangs there in the air and rings. Brilliant. Might not be your cup of tea, but I’ll always love the Beach Boys.
This will also go into Sliders Sunday, because none of it is real. I shot myself standing still, then added the shake weights, the motion, and the gym background with the vibration machine (which had a tall skinny blonde model using it).

On Sundays - the only moment in the week, when we can relax a bit - we start the day by listening to some good Indian music and sometimes, burn an incense stick. We find it to be a good start of the day.

People have been painting rocks, some, like this one, with positive messages, and leaving them around town. This one was in Waterworks Park, where my wife and I went for a lovely, early spring break. We left right after a video conference with my colleagues, where were informed that Ontario schools will be closed till May 1 for teachers, and May 4 for students. Hopefully the weather gets warmer, though I did walk around today, at the park, in a short sleeved T. 8 degrees Celsius, or 46 Fahrenheit . After I shot this, of course, I started singing "Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys. lol Then, as we pulled into the driveway, "Good Vibrations" came on Sirius XM. Coincidence? I think not.
This is the third in a series of abnormal skies but taken with my normal zoom lens this time. I was out at the McIntosh Lake Loop and snapped another particularly unusual shot! Talk about seeing unusual clouds. Egad, right here at Mac Lake? Another trip to NCAR in Boulder for an explanation? NCAR is already under the thumb of the Orange Empire but considering their research into atmospherics, the NCAR scientists are not on the Pruett Parade. The Uber-Right is even skeptical about having to breathe the atmosphere themselves as long as the Kochs furnish them with gas masks in their private bunkers. Is atmosphere now declaring war on us? Walt Kelly, "We met the enemy and he is us." What a rare day during global warming. Maybe I can reach Pruett in his private Koch Brothers phone booth to complain. He wants to privatize the environment for sale. I heard Romney already started bidding after wrapping up his Toys are us deal.
This is a snap I set aside in March. Egad, is gawd rocking it out to the Bleach Boys and shaking the cloud? I wandered out west from Dawson Park at McIntosh Lake on the loop trail for exercise in the afternoon and found this willy nilly sky. It was another abnormal Orange Hair day in March. This day is going to be about as Stormy as the orange mob boss's dance card.
Mac Lake is always a good spot for a walk. I get out there a few times each month... after slapping my sleepy bum. I hoped to bail more into the mountains with summer this year. All the Colorado newbies complain about the down turns with panic warnings. I am panicked about the extensive over-paving and over-warming of Largemont.
At Praia de Patos (this name deserves a translation: Ducks' Beach).

But I reminded him that is what pirate Jack-o-Lanterns wear!
He told me that Jack-O-Lanterns are afraid of things that go pumpkin the night.
And do you know why they call them ‘Jack-O-Lanterns’? It’s because Jill rolled down the hill!
At our local farmers market, the Farmer “A” sells pumpkins, the Farmer “B” sells strawberries, but what do you know what the Farmer “C” sell? Medicine.
The Beach Boys were shaking this table with all these pumpkins on it. That way they’ll have “Gourd-Gourd-Gourd Gourd Vibrations.” Otherwise, pumpkins listen to their favorite music on vine-yl.
Two movies that Pumpkins and Jack-O-Lanterns like to watch are “Gourd of the Rings”, “The Gourdfather,” and “The Gourd, the Bad, and the Ugly.” They like to read “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Gourd, Very Bad Day.” They often check GourdReads for more titles.
Cinderella was not good at sports. She had a pumpkin for a coach.
