Il Palazzo di Westminster, conosciuto anche come Houses of Parliament o solo Westminster, è l’edificio in cui le due Camere del Parlamento del Regno Unito (la camera of Lords e quella dei comuni) tengono le loro sedute. E 'il luogo dove le leggi che governano la vita britannici sono discuss e approvate. L’attuale Palazzo di Westminster è il più grande edificio gotico del mondo con al suo interno oltre 1.000 camere e due chilometri di corridoi.

It is the place where laws governing British life are debated and passed. The modern Palace of Westminster is the largest Gothic building in the world - there are over 1,000 rooms and two miles of corridors in it.

The Palace of Westminster contain the bell Big Ben that is struck each quarter hour. A light in the clock tower tells when the House of Commons is in session. Big Ben is one of the most famous landmarks in the world. The Great Bell which was first struck on the 7 September 1859 a weighs of almost 13 tons.

This is my last photo (at least for now) from our summer trip to Sweden and Norway.

After about 10 days in Norway, we returned to Stockholm to catch our plane back home, but even after a few thousand photos I could not resist going for a last night shooting in the city.

I want to thank everyone of you who's been following me for the last six months or so that I'm posting this series, I'll be very happy if you have enjoyed through my photos even 1/100 of what I enjoyed being there! See you...

Αυτή είναι η τελευταία φωτό μου (τουλάχιστον για τώρα) απ' το καλοκαιρινό ταξίδι μας στη Σουηδία και στη Νορβηγία.

Μετά από 10 περίπου μέρες στη Νορβηγία, επιστρέψαμε στη Στοκχόλμη για να πάρουμε το αεροπλάνο της επιστροφής και παρά τις μερικές χιλιάδες φωτό που είχα ήδη τραβήξει δεν αντιστάθηκα στον πειρασμό να βγω για μια τελευταία βραδινή φωτογραφική βόλτα στην πόλη.

Θέλω να ευχαριστήσω όλους εσάς που με ακολουθείτε αυτούς τους τελευταίους έξι μήνες που ανεβάζω αυτή τη σειρά των φωτογραφιών, θα είμαι πανευτυχής αν απολαύσατε μέσω των φωτογραφιών μου έστω και το 1/100 απ' όσα απόλαυσα εγώ όσο ήμουν εκεί! Τα λέμε...

there are moments when i don’t have words for the joy in my heart. i let go of details and “knowing,” and trust in the mystery. it’s hard to capture the emotion of letting go. but this feels about right, in all its blurry, beautiful imperfection.

I needed a break from working on shots from the Yellowstone/Teton trip. I spotted this nice curvy field the night before and noted where the sun had set. Just an hour before this shot it was sunny and cloudless which didn't appeal to me. The forecast had decent chance of rain/storms for this evening, so I kept an eye out and sure enough the clouds came and I was out the door.

The sun sets over the Grand Canal on my virtual revisit to Venice. The godolas were parked up for the night and we set off to find something to eat (pizza of course) before making our way back to the railway station in time to catch a train to get us back to Milan for our last train home. This took rather longer than we thought as we got totally lost navigating the alleyways. There was more than one time either my daugher or I said "haven't we been down this alley before?"

Now I know you arn't going to believe this........but i was walking through the

Serengeti national park and came across.................

I love Scotland. Last week we had snow storms with the temperature at minus 6, this week the temperature reached 27 degrees Celsius or 80 Fahrenheit (in old money). This is a photo of sunset over the Western Highlands from Ben A'an in the Trossachs last night. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park was recently announced by National Geographic as the United Kingdom's top beauty spot and I count myself lucky to live here.

UP LDS53 smokes it up at Goodnight control point as it departs Pueblo, Colorado on the Tennessee Pass Sub with a work train and four cars for the cement plant in Portland in tow. Leading the train is ex-DRGW #3121, one of 37 EMD GP40-2s built for the Rio Grande, an appropriate leader for this sacred stretch of railroad.
