What first attracted me to take this photo was the amazing symmetry between these grain bins. The two tall bins are very alike. The medium size are incredibly similar. The outer ones not so much except for size. I originally wanted to shoot this with the setting sun behind the grain bins. But when I saw the sun poking through I shot it as you see. Sadly a few weeks after I shot this photo we had a big wind storm come through that destroyed the grain bin on the right.

At the end of the day....There was nothing Norman liked more than to stare deep into Noreen's eyes and kiss her goodnight.... and for Noreen, it gave her an opportunity to check in Norman's nasal hair needed trimming...which it usually did.

This is one of the last pics of him.
We had to say goodbye to this member of the family last week. Amazing how they can rip your heart out when they go...
We still expect him to there when you go to the fridge or taking a whole step on the stairs, or busting in the bedroom and climbing onto the window for his morning garden inspection!

Scituate light is one of my most favorite. The location of the lighthouse is really scenic and it makes for some interesting light right after sunset.
Also, the shape of the lighthouse is kind of unique.
This photo was taken on a cold autumn night (6º Celsius) in the city of Porto, at the location of "Terreiro da Sé" and attention was focused on the full moon between the buildings of the "Tribunal Canônico do Porto" and the "Museu do Tesouro da Sé"
