From Colorado Preservation, Inc.: "Built in 1870, the barn is the sole surviving structure from the Goodnight Rock Canon Ranch, the northern headquarters for the Goodnight-Loving cattle trail that extended from Texas to Colorado. In 1864, the Goodnight-Loving Trail was the most heavily traveled trail of the time in the southwest."
The renovation, completed in 2020, cost more than $1 million.
After spending the day on 'the other side' of Rainier (Sunrise entrance) we came around this hairpin on the way home to be greeted by this nearly wreck the truck view. :-)

The lights have came on on the Dom Luis I Bridge as the last of the light sets on the horizon, Porto, Portugal.
The sun settles down on the horizon of Lake Michigan on this evening, as seen from the entrance to Frankfort Harbor.
Last light put on quite the show on Lake Superior tonight. Here it is, finally sinking slowly below the horizon. It just didn't want to give up on such a great day. Goodnight, Superior!
