It was a Good Friday -- would have wanted to go to the beaaaaaaaaaach but we stayed home to bum all day paying respect to Good Friday for Lent. We also spent the other night visiting Churches,too in paying homage to Lenten season.
And yeah, nothing beats mornings together while enjoying our pancakes. =)

All the Bingley churches unite for an act of witness in the market place. The "congregation" was all behind me when I took the photo.
RECIPE:
(Bread Machine)
1 cup milk-room temp.
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup liquid honey
1/4 cup butter-room temp.
3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 1/4 tsp bread machine yeast
3/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup candied fruit peel
1. Measure all ing. except raisins and candied fruit into ban. Select "Dough" Cycle. Add raisins and candied fruit when your bread machine beeps to add ingredients.
2. Remove dough onto floured surface. Divide into 12-16 portions. Place buns on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. With a sharp knife, make two cuts on top of each bun to form a cross. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30-45 min. or until double in size.
3. Bake in a 350F pre-heated oven for 15-20 min. or until tested done.
4. When cool, pipe on icing.
Icing:
3/4 cup icing sugar
1 tbsp milk
1/4 tsp almond extract
