New updates daily!
I've been working hard for nearly ten years to heal up from too many surgeries & setbacks. Walking daily for nearly 2 years without a cane now & can make 7 miles on flat or smooth ground. A life goal is to spend a week or 12 back up on the peak, but even if I never do I have great memories & will keep striving . . .
"I lift my eyes up, to the mountains
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from You
Maker of heaven, Creator of the earth
Oh how I need you Lord
You are my only hope
You're my only prayer
So I will wait for you
to come and rescue me
Come and give me life . . . (Psalms 121)"

Back in the days of radio, "He shoots. He scores!" was the famous call that we'd often hear on Hockey Night in Canada.
JJ has been yearning to score a goal, and yesterday in a three-game tournament, he did score his first one. In fact, he scored two goals.
Unfortunately, nobody in the family witnessed the first one. Grandparents are permitted to miss 8:30 games, and Mom was briefly called away, so she missed it too.
Bummer!
But lo and behold, he did it again in the second game. I was ensconced in my seat near centre ice, when he took the puck and skated all of the way in to score.
I followed the play as best as I could with the camera and was able to catch him just before he released the shot and an obstacle got in my way.
The shot is highly cropped, but it's a keeper.

We traveled over 3 hours from Hanoi to Halong Bay by bus. While we take a break I found this funny scene.

Hope 2015 is off to a great start for you and the people you love. So far so good here.
I've done some thinking about goals for this year. All i really want to do are
1. Do 20 push up on my smiley muscles every morning
2. Invest time in myself and the people i love
3. Turn criticism to my own advantage
4. Be Mindfulness and kindfulness
5. Work on my meditation at least twice a week
6. Milk on my emotions with acknowledge, forgives, learn and laugh
7. Be as open as possible to what comes
8. Love my people with everything i've got each and every moment
And understanding that sometimes happiness is not something i do, but just the way i change the way i look at life.
Life is a wonderful thing. It really is.
I hope your year is full of peace, love, laughter, and great adventure.
Love to you and yours.
