It way June.....which means the monsoon have arrived....so off season @ goa.....so no bikini clad blondes on calangute beach ......... thats leaves you only with the lovely golden sand and the countless waves

After a couple weeks of beach, sightseeing and lots of Keralan cuisine, Kathryn and I have been missing good exercise. A couple we met in Kochin at Beena's guesthouse that are in India studying yoga for a year raved about a teacher Sharat who has a school in Arambul, Goa.

We decided to take the 5 day introductory course. Fortunate for us, Sharat is teaching the intro course this week for the last time. Alon is in the middle learning a pose to help with shoulder posture.

Arambul is a funky place. It looks like Burning Man on the beach. The food is great - mostly cooked and served by Nepalese who come down for the season. We had yummy brick oven pizza today, a welcome break from rice and sambar.

Goa, known for its stunning coastline, boasts of some of the most beautiful and serene beaches in India. The golden sands, crystal clear waters, and swaying palm trees create an idyllic setting for beach lovers. From the popular Baga beach to the secluded Palolem beach, each beach in Goa has its own unique charm. Whether you want to indulge in water sports, soak up the sun, or simply relax with a book, the beaches of Goa have something for everyone. It's no wonder that Goa is a top destination for beach lovers from all over the world!
