The Canon EOS 5D Mark II vs. the GoPro Hero camera (shown with its waterproof housing. I just recently purchased the smaller camera to do aerial photography and adventure sports.
How they are similar: Both cameras are equipped with full-frame fisheye lenses. The Canon has a 15mm F2.8 180-degree angle full-frame fisheye mounted to it in this photo. The GoPro has a built-in 170-degree angle full-frame fisheye lens. These cameras can shoot both stills and 1080p HD video.
How they differ: The Canon EOS 5D Mark II has a huge 21MP sensor (24x36mm -- the same size as 35mm film), whereas the GoPro has only a 5MP sensor (about the size of your little finger nail). The larger sensor on the Canon allows it to almost "see" in the dark, and with very little digital noise. The Canon has interchangeable lenses, the GoPro does not. The GoPro comes with a waterproof (down to 180’ / 60m), all-weather protective housing; the Canon does not. The Canon with the 15mm lens shown here costs about $4,400 -- the GoPro, as shown here, costs only about $260. Despite its cheap price, the GoPro is capable of some amazing quality, especially the video--which is something that I'm trying to explore. The GoPro is programmable to shoot unattended, still photos every 2 seconds (or other intervals)--you'd have to buy a separate intervalometer for the Canon to do this.

Seen by Pentax, Kodak, Olympus or GoPro, the month of March always seems very bad ... Maybe with a Leica I will bring back the sun? ..
I've been asked about the setup for this video.
