One of those days you just cant forget. Here is KA323 already off the runway after touching down on runway 31 after 3 go-arounds due to handling problems.

This was the last and final attempt to land as they had no more fuel for another attempt!! (480kgs left on landing)

May 31, 2016, was a particularly astonishing day, two go-rounds between 4:30 and 5:40, and a United Airbus A320 that taxiied up to the end of runways 1L and 1R, from the wrong end. It sat for many minutes, then drove through to an international jetway!

This JAL 777-300ER went around, to the south-west of the 28 runways, so presumably, from the 28L approach... I never saw it on approach, just heard it coming overhead. Lucky me, I got one photo and it worked! This is very close to the full frame. Hard to imagine asking for much better than this... This plane appears again when it actually lands. Note -300ER raked wingtips.

The second go-round was a United Dreamliner, which was descending toward 28R and suddenly climbed away. I got pictures of that too.

Finally, that Airbus parked the wrong way on runway 1's taxiway. Was there no space for it? DId it get lost in the taxiways? Late, or early, and missed its reserved slot? Quite an hour and 10 minutes, 4:30 to 5:40...
