A bit of photoshop fun for Sliders Sunday.
Don't ask about the concept here because I'm not sure there is one LOL.
The base image was taken with an ND filter to get a long exposure which removed all of the traffic. The A380 is one of my stock one which I've used before. I tried to work with the proportions here where the wingspan is 80 meters.. Alas, the width of the M6 here is more like 45 metres (verge to verge) making the shadow's wing span approx 60 metres.. So, still a little short...
Anyway, thought it was (just about) worth sharing.. HSS.
That might be the most impressive go around I've seen in my life! This aircraft aready blew my mind during departure. Indeed, it is part of the QRA (Quick Reaction Alert), the Permanence Opérationnelle in French, so it was quite impressive to see the take-off, just a few minutes after the alarm rang.
For the return, 1h45 after, I decided to get just under the approach path for a different shot. Little did I know that it woud do such a crazy go-around followed by an immediate and very dynamic left bank!

' Emirates 412 going around ' - whilst I didn't hear the reasons why 412 went around, it was a tight timing between company EK415 which had just departed, somewhat slowly, prior... Purely speculative on my behalf... 412 was approx over piano keys 34L when she roared to life and climbed away... 24 July 2016

With a single runway operation - timing is everything and due to a late 'clearance' ahead of us, ATC instructed our pilot to climb away

Approaching Dublin at the end of its flight from Los Angeles as the EI068, due to strong winds and wind shear this flight initiated a "Go-Around" just after this picture was taken and made a second approach where it landed safely

Back from its mission, this Mirage 2000 did a very impressive go-around over my head. Amazing sight with the two Magic II missiles!

I still have the X-T1 with me most of the time when I go around. It is light weight and smaller in size/ It is also less sophisticated.

Amazing close-up of the Polish Air Force MiG-29 Fulcrum doing his signature go-around after a low pass in landing configuration. Some children next to me were sad that the MiG was landing and the show was over. Knowing what was to come, I kept my mouth shut and heard their joyful screams as the Fulcrum lit the burners and went vertical right net to us. Awesome!

First A330 for Lucky Air on its maiden flight, just before the traditional Go-Around maneouvre. Notice that the pilots left the landing gear up. MSN 1838, F-WWCZ, was registered B-1059 on delivery. Lucky Air is part of the HNA Group.
