was waiting in the railway station for our train to Goa. Came The reflection of the passangers on the glasswindow of the AC compartment of the train waiting in the other platform drew my attention. Suddenly this lady inside the train looked out to say bye to her family as her train was about to leave
A Yale Ph.D. student had just defended her dissertation and a celebration was arranged on a room with big glass windows.The dissertation research of this student involved setting up tiny droplets of a solution containing macromolecules for X-ray crystallographic studies. It was raining, and while the celebration was going on, I noticed these droplets on the outside surface of the window. I wonder if these tiny drops are chasing this student!

A Gaumer Industries building looks to be a forgotten relic on the property. I love the glass walls for whatever reason. Would be neat if I could get on the property (with permission of course) and check the building out a bit closer.

The Singapore Flyer is a giant Ferris wheel located in Singapore, in the Marina area, right next to the Marina Bay Sands resort, with the exact area being the Marina Promenade. The Flyer is based on the Londoneye, another giant observation platform. The Singapore Flyer presents a great view of the city and some of the attractions. The Flyer has a total height of 165 meters, and reaches 42 stories tall (and is taller than London Eye by 30 m). The Singapore Flyer was opened in April 2008 to the general public. There are 28 capsules in the Flyer, with each capsule holding 28 people. Each trip lasts around 30 minutes. The Flyer however is not the tallest structure in the region, with buildings nearby being taller. Sightseeing buses, along with an MRT station, provide easy access to the Flyer. From the Flyer, this was a view of the Gardens by the Bay, a new tourist attraction in Singapore, built on 101 hectares of reclaimed land, right next to the Marina Bay Sands resort. The tall metal structures are essentially supretrees that are vertical gardens. These 2 large structures are the conservatories, called the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome.
