Happy Wednesday!

Express Train to airport station. Having stopped in the midst of Covid-19 shutdowns, the express train from downtown to the Pearson International Airport has resumed and runs at 15 minute intervals. The ride costs less than $10, has discounts for seniors, children, students , disable persons etc. and has disability access of course. It gets to the airport in less than half an hour with two stops on the way. A great alternative to driving if you leave from downtown.

Inaugurated in 1998, the Hemisfèric was the first building in the City of Arts and Sciences to open its doors to the public.

Designed by Santiago Calatrava, it features an ovoid shell over 100 meters in diameter, housing a large spherical projection room.

It represents a large human eye, the eye of wisdom. This element symbolizes the gaze and observation of the world, which visitors discover through surprising audiovisual projections.

Theme: Unusual Patterns

Size: Less than 3x3 inches

The subject is a piece of red onion skin held in position with water droplets tension against the glass window.

The onion skin is not completely flat and is also hydrophobic, so as it lift away from the glass it create these unusual water patterns.

The light source is natural morning sunlight back lighting.

Many thanks for your visit, comments and favs...it is always appreciated.

This little free library was constructed and is maintained by residents of the neighborhood where it is located. It has become very popular among surrounding residents. The signs taped on the front window list upcoming events for the library's users. I've posted this photo in a larger than normal size to make the small print legible.

I love the layers with reflections in windows. It's not only what is in the window, but also on the street outside! I see the layers, inside, close to the glass and across the street. I like the way they merge so that it is difficult to tell where in space they actually are. Check out the small white bear sat on the car!

It is the largest cathedral and religious building in Britain, and the eighth largest church in the world.
